This is an incredible video- so much deeper than I thought it would be. I'm 23 and this woke me up to the path I'm going down in life, in regards to fostering creativity vs letting the weight of the adult world wear increasingly at my mindset

I discovered home movies in 2019 as a 40 year old. The show is ridiculously simple but clever and hilarious. As a teen i hated Dr Katz but i didnt like anything but punk and skate culture, now I appreciate Dr Katz as well, but Home Movies is just too funny. Hjb kills it as Jason and Coach, Brendan Small is just talented as hell, Everyone in the show adds value and fun to see people from Dr Katz. Two of the best moments are when Jason gets cut off from explaining why he wants to be a maggot and why hes picking "pulling things out of" his nose..

This is especially true if you take the example of how the metered dose inhaler from asthmawas invented based off an idea the executive got from his daughter about hairdressers

i completely forgot about this show, and i really enjoyed it, too

Archer wouldn't be Archer and Bob Belcher wouldn't be Bob if it wasn't for this show and allowing H. Jon Benjamin to play McGurk.

I just discovered this show and I love it.

I always loved Home Movies, it was so quirky and odd so I watched it when it was on adult swim. I even have the DVD collection. I loved the little movies like Starboy and the Captain of OuterSpace!
