I always look forward to your videos :)
Ответить2nd
Ответить$5 budget sounds good :)
ОтветитьMake it $20 total for the episode and feature 1 - 4 items. Then you can have 4 $5, items, 2 $10 items, etc.
ОтветитьGOOD IDEA!
Ответитьgood vid.
Ответитьjust make it under $10. That way you aren't so limited
Ответить$3
ОтветитьI appreciate all of your tips and support the up to $10 products movement, but it's your show and will be happy with what ever you choose. I would not mind still having like a couple $1 ones and on up to $10. What ever you choose, I support you!
ОтветитьI say raise it to $5 each item or I like @123BigRob123 idea of $20 total per episode
ОтветитьI agree.
ОтветитьMe likey $5 budget
ОтветитьIt's over $1.00, but Home Depot also has a bag of plastic spring clamps for $8.97. It has four 2-inch, six 1-inch, eight 3/4 inch, and four 1/2 inch clamps. The only ones I haven't found much use for are the 1/2 inch clamps. They hold my green screen to it's frame without any problems.
Ответитьdo $2 AND $5 ! :)
Ответитьa $5 and $1 show etc, all in one...
ОтветитьWhy not one of each dollar range?
ОтветитьYou should still call it the $1 Budget even if you increase the actual budget like Conan O'Brien did the Year 2000 well past 2000 and FroKnowsPhoto does the 5 Minute Portrait videos that run 40 plus minutes. If not, call it something generic like someone suggested, the Frugal Budget. Either way, I'll keep watching and using the ideas. Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you so much for your videos would love "20 dollars & under" this way you will cover a wider range of items thanks. I have a question. I'm getting ready for my first GIG 15th birthday party and I'm about to create the Camera Stabilizer Rig for Under $5, my question is if I show up with all this PVC Gear would I look silly & Cheap, or not? I'm all about DIY, but never been on a PAID GIG. input would be appreciated
Ответитьhow about a $1, $5, and $10. You could do one of each price in each episode!
Ответитьspray paint it or cover the whole thing in hockey tape. It will look less like PVC and more pro. It's not a perfect idea but it should help at least a little bit. Also putting accessories on might help to look better as well, (such as a polarizing filter, a wide angle lens, and attaching a shotgun mic to the rig). good luck.
ОтветитьCan you make a cheap tree camera arm. One the hunting industry uses. Can see them at Cabelas.com If you could mount it on a tripod it would be even better! Get a lot of slider like shots with it.
Ответитьwoohoo $10
ОтветитьI found a pack of 16 spring clamps for $7.64 at Wal-Mart. I also found some single female/female connectors at Wal-Mart. If you take three of them and tape them together in a useful way you can make the same thing as the pre-made triple connector.
Ответить5$
ОтветитьJust an FYI: If you take a 1/4"-20 screw/bolt and insert it through the hole in the spring clamp these clamps work well for mounting a cold shoe like the "frio" cold shoe or a mini ball head for holding aux. lighting or mics.
ОтветитьYou could have the show be a 1$ item, a 5$ item, and a 10$ item or something along those lines each episode.
ОтветитьMy vote is 10 and under. As always, great show.
ОтветитьYeah I think doing a $10 and under would be good. And give you room to vary. Even in the same episode, the items wont have to be the same. Could have a $5, a $1, and a $10 in the same one.
ОтветитьThere is a neat gadget at Dollar General, its $6, its a suction cup cell phone mount. It could be good to hold like a really small cam, something the size of a gopro maybe or an Iphone. I've used to the hold my H4n as well. I used to with my still cam with video feature, worked pretty good, but it hand some trouble with weight.
Ответитьyou should do a random budget each week like an indy moguls bfx with the wheel and have a range from 1-20$
ОтветитьYes we had the same problem with the clamp ends coming off. I am pretty sure on just one shoot most of the tips were lost, so you would want to glue them before you shoot.
ОтветитьI added a 1/4-20 x 1" bolt, a 1/4-20 nylon locknut, a 1/4-20 locknut and a rubber washer to existing holes on a spring clamp to make camera grip for my Sony Cybershot. Add a universal ball-joint and it gets better. Replace the spring clamp with a Smith Victor gaffer's grip for best results.
