nice mods. Wish we could get the sound test with double-shot pbt keycaps. From what i have done on my kb. The double-shot pbt sound a lil bit nicer than the 1 you have(i have the same too).

Thanks so much!! This vid was good quality and perfect for my keyboard i used the o ring mount, the pe foam pads and the tape mod for my keychron v1 with oil kings and PBT comet keycaps and it turned out so nice and clean. Like the content keep it up!!!

Nowadays they sell precut switch pads which technically is the anti tick and (obviously) switch pad mod in one as it covers the whole pcb

Tbh besides the rattling on the stabs I prefer stock because it is crispier and thockier

This sounds great for the price, but I just wish it was south-facing LED. Bit of a bummer.

What switches does he use for this keyboard build? and has he lubed them already? I feel like he has but I'm not sure. I like the sound and I really want it to sound as good or maybe better than this if I can. Any responses are appreciated :)

i wish i could do these mods but i cant take apart my keyboard its the clix keyboard (Red and black) and i unscrewed all the screws and cant figure out how to take it apart can someone help me?

All the mods did is fix the stabilizers imo

I only fixed rattling stabilizers, other mods are not worth it on 100 euro prebuild keyboard.

the way you do your holee mod will lead to a undesired, unpleasant tactile created by the bandaid making contact with the housing.

After modding my first keyboard I don’t think I can ever use stock again lol

Did your anti-tick mod work? It should barely but still support the wire, I think. Otherwise, the tolerances on the clip and the loose wire will just make ticks.
