No Makeup idea is fantastic. Always personal thought so, but many dont care to question there cultural rules that no ones cares about.
ОтветитьI think the greatest thing about intuitive eating is that you’re also healing your relationship with food as well as your healing your relationship with your body and mind. I focused more on nutrition rather than calories so the food I was eating satisfied me and gave me energy. Whereas on a calorie controlled diet I would be really focused on minimising calories which often led to stress which had a whole series of other consequences that led me back to binging. It’s amazing how much better my life got when I started listening to my body, feeding when I was hungry, eating foods that made me feel good, resting when I needed, moving it everyday in ways I enjoyed. Since I was no longer using food as a coping mechanism to deal with my emotions I started to journal and actually working through my problem more effectively rather than burying them under a sugar high. The key to sustainable health is mindfulness. Your body is amazing. It tells you what it needs, but it can take a while to figure it out. It can be difficult to trust your body when for so long you’ve been told not to listen to it. But it will work and you’ll be better physically and mentally for it.

ОтветитьYour viewership is based on your content, your looks, your style, your voice, etc. I would watch your numbers as you go with no makeup and decide whether you're happy with that or not.
There's no crime in makeup if that helps you to appeal to some viewers and you think it's worth it.
Why does the DASH diet demote pulse options to less than one a day.
It's ridiculous that they have six servings of grains when most people will just eat "whole wheat" bread, which is mostly non whole grain.
It seems like they are right back to the General Mills recommended diet
for those of us who have confidence in you and your conclusions but are not interested in the details of the science would you break up your videos into its parts wo we can go to your conclusion?

ОтветитьIs it very important to log in before and after every meal? Seems to me that that would definitely boost one's mindfulness a whole lot, and that might be why this works, even aside from the actual fullness meter part. What do you think? Did you log every meal when you did it?

ОтветитьI'm glad it worked for you, but it doesn't work for everyone. If you use food to soothe emotions, hunger and fullness cues are worthless. Most people overeat not because they restricted and they're hungy, but because they need an instant easy gratification, dopamine release.

For me it only works if I eat enough food that's not super processed,. So enough vegetables, fiber and fruits. It normalizes my apetite.
If I eat what I want, when I want, I gain. Because I will eat chocolate here, cola there, some french fries, then one normal meal maybe, some chinese, more cola. It keeps on going like that for weeks on end. No binges, no guild. That's what I eat when not paying attention to enough decent food in my diet and/ or not cooking regularly.
What about processed food?

ОтветитьI think my primary concern with intuitive eating as it was originally presented was the idea that non-health promoting foods were allowed.
I genuinely think that if people only ate whole Grains, nuts, seeds, Legumes, Vegetables, & generally followed a whole food plantbased diet or even a plant centered whole food omnivorous diet overeating would be extremely difficult.
The same issue is true with the USDA diet in that it allows non-health promoting foods. The problem is when people see that they can have some candy or some refined grain products they allow them to become the majority of their diet & continually tell themselves "I'll do better tomorrow," whereas if they follow a Mediterranean Diet, Paleo Diet, Okinawan Diet or other whole food diet their ability to over eat is greatly limited due to satiety.
