He calls this authentic but doesn't make sewage oil from scratch, or skin his hotpot broth off the top of a rival restaurant's garbage bin.
ОтветитьNot for me cause have it every so often and it is delicious. I love being born in an asian family🙏🙇♂️
ОтветитьThat was super time consuming
Ответитьmmmm, forbidden brownie....
Ответитьwhy do you say 'onion' like that
ОтветитьMy first time experiencing hot pot I was maybe 20 and in a professional marching band. We had finished a long day of parades and we were all starving and salt deficient. 6 of us get a table and we each get a bowl of broth on a hot plate sunk into our table. All of us start ordering things and I think we ordered everything on the menu at least once and many things more than once. We were there for like 3 hour and we absolutely destroyed everything we were served. Then at the end the check was like 30 bucks a person plus a (very generous) tip. For a broke ass college student it was an amazingly good night out.
ОтветитьJust go haidilao
ОтветитьHotPot doesn't need to be expensive or grand. Just some leftover in your fridge is enough.

ОтветитьI lost it laughing out loud when he sang, "M S G."
Ответитьdid you used metal against your nonstick pan? Hiyaaa
ОтветитьThis is a chinese fondue. Call it by its name. The restaurants here that serve it don't worry about going through all that work as they buy the ready-made ingredients, like the chicken stock and the spicy broth. The meats are local ones. As are the vegetables, and we're not served with but a three-pronged fork. As well as different sauces and dumplings . This is in very expensive chinese restaurants. Another thing, don't laugh, but americans have turkey for Xmas, we buy chinese fondue and make it at home ! It isn't accoutrements, sorry, but accompagnements instead. And there's no need to pronounce onions' french style. That sounds snob ! I very much like your videos, and that's why I'm saying that. So don't be offended. Even my chinese friends don't make it that way, because it takes time and effort and everyone is occupied by work and stuff.
ОтветитьMy favourite place just uses beef broth as the base and ohhhh myyyyy goooooddd it is good. I love hotpot
ОтветитьJoshua's recipes and personality are a large majority of the videos, but let's also give it up for his funny and talented editor hahahah I love the editing style of all of Joshua's videos, but his cooking knowledge is unmatched. 🥰🧡
