Ales Hemsky was the best Oilers skater since Glen Anderson and Paul Coffey terrorized the NHL. Mcdavid is an Olympic Sprinter on skates.... Ales had edgework that was magic and fluidity of motion at all times....Anderson was pure power Forward and he just opened up the afterburners and forced his way into the lane with brute force.....Paul Coffey was like a ballerina on Speed he could literally tiptoe around guys at Light-Speed he had demon like ability to traverse all; 200ft unmolested then he could bury it like a dog buries a bone....Connnor Mcdavid is the EV of NHL Speed....his speed does not come with a conventional transmission its DIRECT DRIVE an he can go from 1st gear to 5th gear at will...they call him the Streak......then we have to mention Todd Marchant the Man of a Million missed breakaways but one of my all time favorites because of how he manufactured time and space at will to gap himself away from literally everybody else .
