I'm so unclear about the skin vs skin overlay thing... like I try to look it up and it always says there's not much difference - except that you can only have one "default" skin which idk what that even means.
So, can I have more than one skin or skin overlay in my mods folder or... what's up with that?

There are eyelashes that are not in skin details entirely, they are instead in eyeliner which is great for now since I haven't had a reason to use eyeliner. I don't play every often either so it might be awhile.

I’m sorry, but it was hard to follow what skin overlay you used for the child. You said “same skin details that were on Lara” but that’s not exactly clear. I’m trying to make the N8 eyelids (that were on child Saffron) not look so real compared to the rest of the skin.

I always find it really hard to make male sims. I suppose it's because I'm female and I know more about female fashion than male fashion, but that's not the point. I always find it hard for the skin details and everything like that and my male sims end up looking like they've come out of some sort of horror story. This has helped me so much, but has anyone else got any more tips? (not saying this video isn't helping me out, I'm just saying that I would like some more tips so I can get better, not to be offensive or anything)

to the people watching this in 2022, i noticed the gs blush is broken an di use it ALL the time and is wondering if anyone knows a alternative?

One thing I do find frustrating is you can only have 1 default in your mod's folder/game, and you can have as many as you like of non-default in your mod's folder/game.
So, I am trying to find non-default skin Tone, but I guess you would call it skin overlays, but some creators don't advise if its default overlays or non-default. I really need help with this one and hoping you can help me.

Hey i don't know if im the only one but the Goppolsme Overlay 1 download link is a virus it sent me pop-ups that said my laptop isn't safe and stuff(those pop-ups were the viruses) i don't know if this happened to anyone else or

Wait, EA has eyelashes? I thought you could only get eyelashes on your sims if you got them as cc, also thanks so much for this video. You can also get eyelashes for makeup as well which is what I do, and now, thanks to you, I can actually have eyeliner on my sims without having to take away the eyelashes! (I am really interested in the eyelashes, idk if you can tell lol)
Edit: I wished I had all of Clare's cc, and now I have a little bit of it which was recommended by Clare herself!

how does her game look so smooth with for exampel, the obscurus overlays? my sims has the highest graphics settings and same shaders so i dont why my looks so weird. i looks like overly textured and realistic

The only eyelashes I had were not in the skin detail category and instead it was in the glasses category so I couldn’t have my sim wear glasses and stuff, and I had to reapply it for each outfit
