ОтветитьAwesome video ❤
ОтветитьI never comment on videos. BUT this video is full of APPLICABLE information. My video and photos have improved dramatically after just watching this one video. Thank you.
Ответитьexcellent video!!!!!!
ОтветитьI'd surely prefer to NOT include ISO within the triangle.
In my mind, no triangle exists simply because your choices available are merely on a sliding scale, and it gets adjusted based on the available LIGHT not based upon ISO. I'd prefer to substitute ISO with a measurement of the available light. Yes indeed - light belongs in that triangle, because we expose with light by making physical adjustments in what the camera does when an exposure is made.
There is, in effect, some sort of imprecision when including ISO in the equation, simply because ISO is not employed when measuring actual light levels. ISO is nothing but an arbitrary setting which you choose for your camera or light meter.
ISO allows you to slide your values up and down. But it sure as hell has nothing to do with the available amount of light. Cranking up your ISO to insane levels, if you choose that, accomplishes one thing for image quality: It makes your image appear somewhat grainy, to use a vernacular term for film photography. Or for digital, a super high ISO will make your image very noisy, like a fuzzy old fashioned television set image, which is attempting to pick up a faint distant signal. Hardly a perfect analogy, but at least it gives you some idea.
This is the most clear and comprehensive guide I've seen on this topic! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьAre you God? Cause this is free game and I really appreciate you. You have a kind heart and you really feel sympathy for us photographers who just want to learn and get into it without paying to learn the basics. This deserves more views! You show that you really care and that you’re really passionate with what you do. We have to come together, not compete against each other all the time. It’s really hard as a beginner photographer to just fit in because we are in the process of learning while having hands on experience. And sometimes that can be daunting because we’re clueless when we shoot. Having creativity is hard but learning the basics isn’t. It’s kinda scary but a routine can get everyone there. Wish the best of luck!
ОтветитьBless you, Sir! THANK YOU!
ОтветитьThank you so much - Why I came to YT was to learn
ОтветитьThis video should get 100k+ views.. The examples are super helpful.. Thanks a lot for this detailed explanation.. 🙂
ОтветитьGreat video explaining most DSLR camera operations parameters for a beginner level as I am one. Enjoyed it and did learn basic of photography pertaining to aperture ISO and shutter speed controls. Thank you very much. Looking forward to more such videos. Good day.
ОтветитьThank YOU,,, Helped tremendously,,,,, Subscribed,,,
ОтветитьIt's a good video. I have a Canon M6 mark II so I have the FV mode so I can change shutter speed without changing aperture on the fly.
ОтветитьNew subscriber alert 🚨🚨…. Thank you so much for this video. I have been scouring through the internet for something that explains this. And this video came up on yt homepage. So glad it did and I subscribed so I’ll definitely be looking forward to more videos from you. The way you explain is phenomenal. Thank you.

ОтветитьThank you! subbed!
ОтветитьRealllly great for beginners - thanks Joe! :)
ОтветитьThank you so much for this super educational video:) The analogies you use to describe, made this much easier for me to learn and remember!
Ответить'The three pillars of exposure, shutter speed, aperture and eye-ess-oh'. 'It really comes down to the amount of light that hits the sensor'. Do you not see that these statements are irreconcilable. The problem is the core error in the first. ISO (correctly pronounced 'eye-so') is not a 'pillar of exposures'. It sets the exposure that your meter tells you is 'correct'. 'The higher the ISO the less quality you will have'. You think that ISO is 'sensitivity', and particularly that changing ISO changes the sensor's sensitivity. That's just plain wrong. It does not change the sensor's sensitivity at all. Nor does setting a high ISO cause noise. The noise is due to the exposure being lower at high ISO (because your meter thinks that is 'correct') and less light energy (number of photons) making up the image. What the ISO control is also doing is controlling the processing so that the lower exposure gets rendered with the desired tonality (so all this stuff about larger aperture or slower shutter speed making the picture 'brighter' is also not really right. It depends on the processing). The 'triangle' is best avoided as a teaching aid. It almost always leads to the misconceptions that you suffer from here. Really, content producers like you should do their research before making this kind of video. If you did, you wouldn't end up with videos that contain so many basic errors and mislead the unfortunate beginner.
ОтветитьW O W. This is amazing. THANK YOU
ОтветитьThat was a good video
ОтветитьSo much great information Just what I needed. Thank you!
Ответитьbeginner here with sony zv e10 + kit lens... and as a beginner, this tutorial is PERFECT. I am both inspired and challenged. my problem though that i hope you could advise is that i shoot indoor nighttime talking head with only my kit lens and i find it difficult to figure the correct settings.
ОтветитьWhat would be your recommended ISO limit for the Sony ZV -E10?
ОтветитьVery useful video! It"s very good that you showed how the incorrect settings were made, because we can learn from them and it is a very good explanation, there is no side talk. Thank you very much!!
ОтветитьGreat Video
I did take notes, will watch again before taking exposure test. Especially loved the trifecta within the triangle, to actually see the big three in use.
this is very educational video Ive ever seen today
