Ismahane Elouafi's Visit to IFPRI

It was a pleasure to welcome CGIAR Executive Managing Director Ismahane Elouafi to our headquarters in Washington, DC, in order to meet IFPRI staff and learn more about our research portfolio and role in supporting CGIAR’s mission.

In this video, Ismahane discusses her experience with the CGIAR, the importance of IFPRI’s work in policy research, and her visit to IFPRI with CGIAR Deputy Executive Managing Director Guillaume Grosso.

The visit included a Hybrid Meet and Greet Townhall with all IFPRI staff, as well as a meeting with USAID’s Assistant to the Administrator for the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security (REFS) Dina Esposito and colleagues and a meeting with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken.
