I really tried to love this show, multiple times. But the Claire character is just so annoying.

Masterclass of acting.

In my opinion, the best scene from all story, as well the moment when she dropped into past. The cloudy gaze in his face, the incomprehension in his eyes, his noiseless struggle in trying to realize what she meant against the unavoidable bound caused by his own place in culture and time; his honest struggle in, for love, to comprehend a truth beyond his own mind.

I love this series. Ive finished it yesterday and honestly I feel like s**t. This is strange but happens to me when I finish very good series. Ive had this when I finished GoT, The Walking Dead and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Because of this my entire real life just feels so boring. I am just feeling that the universe I am living isnt that good. Imagine if there was magic or sth like that. I feel really really sad. I could easily compare this to losing someone important in my life but its just a series. Am I normal? 🙄

In the book she gets really hysterical as she tells him leaning against a tree. I have seen people like that in therapy when it works itself out, except this one was flat out against the wall screaming with a terrible laughter (unfortunately in the main foyer!)

This is the whole thing in the books and the series that doesn't ring true! ( I can accept that she travels through stones though LOL!)
Its bad enough that she tells Jamie - and that he believes her, but to blurt it out to all and sundry (in future episodes/books) that she comes from the future and THEY believe her is just pushing it too far.
I think she should have said she was a "Seer" not a witch but some-one who can see the future. It would have made more sense, and been more believable to the people of that time.

I don't watch this show but I was interested to see how the concept of time travel would be explained to a man of the 18th century. I was disappointed with how it played out here.

Plus his Scottish accent is from future North America.

Did they ever explain the time-travel? Cyberpunk cthulu? Does she have a portal gun? Sucked into the matrix in 2034?

I was astonished on how Jamie reacted....I almost expected him to either get angry or laugh hysterically and call her a liar or crazy. But the way he listened to her patiently.....just absorbing every word she had to say and not dismissing it and just says he believes her coz he trusts her....now that's true love and true commitment. No wonder why he is so attractive

Now this is the scene that makes Jamie shine through.. Amongst dirty, rude, ordinary men of that age, there is a young handsome educated warrior who can understand such a really complicated thing as time travelling... He also has an extraordinary sense of emotional intelligence..... Omg.

Ah, I wish my loved ones were as supportive as Jamie is here. None of my friends and family believed I was a time traveller from the future.
