remember, metal sonic is an individual, but Silver sonic (mecha sonic) is a mass produced robotic sonic, from sonic 2. there are like 8 different "robotic sonic" characters in the series, and 3 of them are mass production models.

My prediction for sonic 4's villain is going to have to be neo metal sonic, a underated villain. Here's what I think his story will be: at some point after the accident with Maria Gerald created a robotic version that was similar in design to shadow and put all his hatred in humanity in it. And maybe this creation could've been studying sonic. Idk it might seem like a stretch but I really want to see Neo get more attention

I really hope metal sonic becomes a main threat, instead of being just a bunch of minions for the characters to get beaten by them, please justice for metal sonic, the games don’t threat him better, the idw comic may be getting to somewhere, but since the sonic movies were so good, they have to make metal sonic his own character, since we manage to make sonic look like sonic, we could make metal sonic into his own character.
