Due the 24 hour
Ответить💞🙏💞🙌💞
ОтветитьLegitimate benefit to a 24-hr AMA marathon would be to give attention to each time zone across the world. Would be interesting to find a way to solicit questions specifically from each zone at their respective sunrise time or something.
ОтветитьHow much does it typically cost to fund one of the studies mentioned in the beginning? Im curious for purposes of people who would be interested in fully providing the funding for studies and work mentioned in other episodes such as the research on autism where that episode mentioned lots of funding issues for the research.
ОтветитьSeries on child development! Yes! I’ve been listening to you for a while and it’s made such a positive change in many areas of my life, but I’ve not had as much success transferring these concepts to my child. Would love to hear about how we can instill tenacity and willpower, better physical fitness and nutrition, motivation and mental health in general… there’s just so much. Based on a mention in your episode with Adam Grant I’ve been getting into Dr Becky Kennedy’s work and would love to see her as a guest as part of this series! I’ve made my daughter listen to your podcast in the car with me a couple times - she absolutely hates it ;). But it would be a really interesting challenge to have an episode actually tailored to listening with your children (say target audience elementary to middle school) to motivate them to WANT to bring about positive change the way you do for adults.
ОтветитьWhat is a juv texas toast light he mentions? I looked at the red light site and didn't find what he mentioned
ОтветитьPlease have some rest too :) Happy New Year, Andrew
ОтветитьWhen Mr Huberman was describing using Red Lights, he said it was not "Red Light Therapy" but still described some value such as less Cortisol for Swing Shift workers. I am curious about that so I will get two or three red bulbs and try it out; my main two ceiling fixtures each have three bulbs at 6000K and 2000 Lumens each. That is super bright for my small apartment, but since it is florescent bulbs 20 Watts each it is only 60 watts for the three bulbs. Anyway...a couple Red Lights would be the opposite; enough to see fine but very low key compared to my 6000K bulbs. Another thing I did recently is I spent about $80 on automatic color changing night lights; about 1/2 watt each and I got about 20 of them so most of my outlets have them. The coolest one is a four outlet box with one color changing bulb in each...so they each are a different color + they change colors every 2 seconds roughly. It is cool and I am satisfied with the cost, but still not as cool as watching a fireplace with a minor fire in it.
ОтветитьTo add to his list of reasons why someone might not want to know what’s under the hood: the finances to deal with potential illness - or lack thereof
ОтветитьChannel simply rocks– really enjoy the podcast, also go Gauchos. :) My question is, what's the best way for a person working Graveyard to slowly shift back to a day schedule? By illustration, I wake up at 10PM and got to bed at 2PM after having a work "day." Recently it's occured to me that instead of just going cold turkey (... most people making the shift just have one shitty bad day and pledge to wake up at their chosen time) what would be fun to try and perhaps more heathly would be to start "staying up" later ... say an hour more each day until "sleep time" moves from 2PM to 3-4-5-6-7 then 8PM. In this way you can see how over five days of simply staying "up" an hour later one is now a 8PM to 4AM sleeper and early riser. ... Early to bed 'n early to wise, makes a man... healthy, weathly 'n despise, oh "wise" ... enough to join the aristocracy. Also as fodder for podcasting would be curious to hear the reverse, how a person would best adapt to working Graveyard.
ОтветитьCould you bring on a guest dermatologist for all the skin science?
ОтветитьCan't you just use any dimmable color-changing smart bulb like the Feit ones at Costco? That triple-click feature is great. Thanks is for sharing!
ОтветитьHappy New Year, Andrew 🎉 I'll join you for a 24 hour marathon! Q for the next AMA is: How to prevent addiction to the Huberman Lab podcast?😅❤
ОтветитьYes! Love Mastiffs. I had a 90lb Brazilian Mastiff. Her name was Fila, and she was magic. I miss her every day.
ОтветитьI love dogs. Thank you. I appreciate your content. God Bless 🙏💕
ОтветитьThe material is fantastic; it's reminiscent of a book I read that was equally inspiring. "Better Sleep Better Life" by Author Name
ОтветитьJust signed up for a lifetime membership. Thanks for all you do :)
ОтветитьA 24h AMA would be interesting.
ОтветитьLoving all your work!!! Question: I heard you say in this podcast to never look directly at the sun, does that include sunrise and sunset while it's low on horizon? Thanks for all you do Dr Andrew!
ОтветитьActually, our lab showed that red light therapy in the morning improves sleep timing, sleep duration, plus a host of other improvements (ie, cognitive performance, insomnia symptoms, depressed mood).
ОтветитьLooking forward to your 2024 YT vlogs. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe thought of a 24-hour AMA session is genuinely exciting. I haven't pulled in all-nighter in ages, but I would gladly stay up for that, and probably call in to work
ОтветитьFuture episode request: I’d love if you could cover skin health and skincare. The episode with Dr. Lustig brought to mind the disconnect between large companies and lack of government oversight vs. what is in our best interests. (For example, 2,500+ skincare ingredients banned in the EU versus a handful in the US).
ОтветитьEpisode on dog health would be highly appreciated!
ОтветитьGreat information on red light therapy and working out. I am eagerly anticipating an episode on Dog Wellness and Communication as I am a believer!
ОтветитьThank you for all that you do! Our lives are enriched! Happy New Year and a wonderful 2024 to you and all of your crew!
ОтветитьThank you for your work. I would love to have it subtitled in my language, and I am sure it would be greatly appreciated in many others. Many people can't follow you in English and are exactly those ones mostly in need of this amazing science/information/teaching sinthesis. I am sure AI could help. I would sign in to review the AI translation voluntarily.
ОтветитьQUESTION for Dr. Huberman:
I recently heard a science podcast that researched AG1 and also tested the powder in a lab for the promised ingredients ("Science Cops" on AG1, sadly it's German) The results were less than comforting.
Did the podcasters miss something or get sth completely wrong? Or asked differently: What is the scientific foundation for this supplement's claim of a synergistic recipe? Where can I find any study on the
Since the pod is in German, here are some of the main points:
- no study to show any effect of AG1
- no study to show synergistic effect
- unhealthy amount of vit E
- lab test shows only minuscule amounts of whitalonides
- the only study provided by AG1 is one that put together cherrypicked individual theories/claims/speculations from other studies to make it sound like there is evidence
I have been a fan & supporter of the Huberman podcast since the beginning. For me it always was the epitome of careful research and factual statements - now I feel a little doubt about your devotion to scientific evidence :/
Cant wait to hear your children development podcast❤
Ответить“My Texas Toast Red Light”😂😂
ОтветитьHi Dr. huberman,
I am big fan of yours. Just to meet you, I am planning to enroll in higher education in Stanford in near future! 😇
You’ve wealth of knowledge around major areas of physiology.
In this podcast, you mentioned treatment of glaucoma, can you please elaborate on that?
My mom is suffering from both cataract and glaucoma.
Her eyes are degrading day by day and doctors here in canada have just accept this as a unavoidable fact.
Can you please cover how one (esp with this medical condition along with diabetes ) take care of eyes?
As well, if there is any treatment that I can recommend my mom to help save her eyes and life?
Thanks very much,
Rini
@andrewhuberman
The fact that you decided to not cut out your drinking pauses during the episode make it feel more relaxed. You should keep this.
ОтветитьThank you so much for all of
the valuable information. Would you consider doing an episode that explores the issue of sexual/ pornography addiction? I have lost two husbands to this terrible addiction, and am aware that it's very prevalent in today's world. I would greatly appreciate any light you can shed in this issue. With gratitude, Katy
Hi, Dr, thanks for the pod! So I can stop thinking about it, could you pass on my new name suggestion to Dr. Lustig? "Munch munch" to "Caliber". Thanks!
ОтветитьCan you have Dr. Carla Shatz talk about the immune system & pregnancy, please?
ОтветитьHappy New Year!
ОтветитьSo grateful for your work! If the comments are the right place to make a request, I’d love to hear a conversation between you and Ann Sussman and her coauthor Justin Hollander. They wrote the the book Cognitive Architecture, which dives into the neuroscience and psychological effects that architectural patterns and the built environment have on our mood, social lives and more!
ОтветитьAndrew they were on mdma/mda
ОтветитьNAV vs berberine for glucose and ldl
ОтветитьI'm generally a very pessimistic character unfortunately, and easily lose faith in humanity... too often... but you're able to restore it mate; you're an amazing human being, truly. I wish there were more like you out there. Best wishes from Wales for 2024 x
ОтветитьWould candlelight be a suitable substitute for red light?
Ответить2024 is already looking bright, thanks to the upcoming content! Can’t wait!!! Thanks for everything as always!
ОтветитьAlmost called out your sunglass buddy. Nice save.
ОтветитьYes to the 24hr marathon!
ОтветитьYes to the 24hr marathon!
ОтветитьAnyway we can get an updated supplement list?
Ответить---> FOR THE NEXT AMA:
So, reading in bed is OK? The light cast off the white pages is OK?
Did you want to say it's better to read in red light? Is that a good idea?
Or: read earlier? Not sure "what to do", is it best to just go to bed and have read a while before?
It would be nice if you start including clips/pics of the objects (red light, etc), activities or exercises so we can better understand and put it to practice or implement it.
Thanks for all your info, tips and help, wish you the best.
Thank you for your commitment to education in 2024. Asking for a friend, can you explain the science behind para-social fixations?!
