Legitimate benefit to a 24-hr AMA marathon would be to give attention to each time zone across the world. Would be interesting to find a way to solicit questions specifically from each zone at their respective sunrise time or something.

How much does it typically cost to fund one of the studies mentioned in the beginning? Im curious for purposes of people who would be interested in fully providing the funding for studies and work mentioned in other episodes such as the research on autism where that episode mentioned lots of funding issues for the research.

Series on child development! Yes! I’ve been listening to you for a while and it’s made such a positive change in many areas of my life, but I’ve not had as much success transferring these concepts to my child. Would love to hear about how we can instill tenacity and willpower, better physical fitness and nutrition, motivation and mental health in general… there’s just so much. Based on a mention in your episode with Adam Grant I’ve been getting into Dr Becky Kennedy’s work and would love to see her as a guest as part of this series! I’ve made my daughter listen to your podcast in the car with me a couple times - she absolutely hates it ;). But it would be a really interesting challenge to have an episode actually tailored to listening with your children (say target audience elementary to middle school) to motivate them to WANT to bring about positive change the way you do for adults.

When Mr Huberman was describing using Red Lights, he said it was not "Red Light Therapy" but still described some value such as less Cortisol for Swing Shift workers. I am curious about that so I will get two or three red bulbs and try it out; my main two ceiling fixtures each have three bulbs at 6000K and 2000 Lumens each. That is super bright for my small apartment, but since it is florescent bulbs 20 Watts each it is only 60 watts for the three bulbs. Anyway...a couple Red Lights would be the opposite; enough to see fine but very low key compared to my 6000K bulbs. Another thing I did recently is I spent about $80 on automatic color changing night lights; about 1/2 watt each and I got about 20 of them so most of my outlets have them. The coolest one is a four outlet box with one color changing bulb in each...so they each are a different color + they change colors every 2 seconds roughly. It is cool and I am satisfied with the cost, but still not as cool as watching a fireplace with a minor fire in it.

Channel simply rocks– really enjoy the podcast, also go Gauchos. :) My question is, what's the best way for a person working Graveyard to slowly shift back to a day schedule? By illustration, I wake up at 10PM and got to bed at 2PM after having a work "day." Recently it's occured to me that instead of just going cold turkey (... most people making the shift just have one shitty bad day and pledge to wake up at their chosen time) what would be fun to try and perhaps more heathly would be to start "staying up" later ... say an hour more each day until "sleep time" moves from 2PM to 3-4-5-6-7 then 8PM. In this way you can see how over five days of simply staying "up" an hour later one is now a 8PM to 4AM sleeper and early riser. ... Early to bed 'n early to wise, makes a man... healthy, weathly 'n despise, oh "wise" ... enough to join the aristocracy. Also as fodder for podcasting would be curious to hear the reverse, how a person would best adapt to working Graveyard.

Future episode request: I’d love if you could cover skin health and skincare. The episode with Dr. Lustig brought to mind the disconnect between large companies and lack of government oversight vs. what is in our best interests. (For example, 2,500+ skincare ingredients banned in the EU versus a handful in the US).

QUESTION for Dr. Huberman:
I recently heard a science podcast that researched AG1 and also tested the powder in a lab for the promised ingredients ("Science Cops" on AG1, sadly it's German) The results were less than comforting.
Did the podcasters miss something or get sth completely wrong? Or asked differently: What is the scientific foundation for this supplement's claim of a synergistic recipe? Where can I find any study on the

Since the pod is in German, here are some of the main points:
- no study to show any effect of AG1
- no study to show synergistic effect
- unhealthy amount of vit E
- lab test shows only minuscule amounts of whitalonides
- the only study provided by AG1 is one that put together cherrypicked individual theories/claims/speculations from other studies to make it sound like there is evidence

I have been a fan & supporter of the Huberman podcast since the beginning. For me it always was the epitome of careful research and factual statements - now I feel a little doubt about your devotion to scientific evidence :/

Hi Dr. huberman,
I am big fan of yours. Just to meet you, I am planning to enroll in higher education in Stanford in near future! 😇
You’ve wealth of knowledge around major areas of physiology.

In this podcast, you mentioned treatment of glaucoma, can you please elaborate on that?
My mom is suffering from both cataract and glaucoma.
Her eyes are degrading day by day and doctors here in canada have just accept this as a unavoidable fact.

Can you please cover how one (esp with this medical condition along with diabetes ) take care of eyes?

As well, if there is any treatment that I can recommend my mom to help save her eyes and life?

Thanks very much,
Rini
