Pesima serie no la recomiendo principalmente por el guionista mas parece sicopata solo muerte y desepcion primero muere el hijo heredero lugo muere la hija menor al dar a luz luego muere el actor o personaje principal el mismo dia que nace su hijo la vida esta llena de tragedias y esto es una tragedia tras otra solo apta para masoquistas

When Julian Fellows killed off Matthew, I swore I would never watch that show again. However, I was hooked on it and found I couldn't stay away. To this day I think that Matthew and Mary could have been given more time together. Oh, well, Fellows was the author, not me!

I did like Matthew in the beginning but he was so horrible when Lavinia came on the scene Mary problem was loving him so much I wonder who he would of married if Lavinia had lived when Lavinia was dying he told Lavinia he wouldn't be happy with out her all this in front of Mary she should of gone to America like her father said and found a good man

After what Matthew did to Mary when Lavinia died Mary should of gone to America and. Like her father said as Matthew was going to leave her

I’d love for a 7th season or 3rd film to be set many years later with the children grown up, George as the new Earl of Grantham, and Mary the new elderly matriarch ala-Violet. And the very last scene would be Mary finally passing away peacefully with her family by her side, and then cut to her young spirit wandering through the Downton grounds, and then she hears a familiar “Mary, darling” and she turns and there’s Matthew waiting for her. She goes to him, takes his hand, and kisses him. The End.

Heartbroken when Mathew died

I was watching the series (2nd season) and looking forward to a happy ending in the future seasons for all the characters. Then, by chance, I discovered that Sybil and Matthew died... they're my favourite characters allong Anna and John Bates, I'm so devastated by this rotten spoiler that I'm dropping the series with a disappointed heart, I'm sorry because it had potential, but I hate it when actors drop series in the middle of the story for other projects (kind of fickle, you should be committed to your character) or when the story kill an important character for dramatic purposes. So far, it was one of the best series I had ever seen, so thank you for the seasons that I watched, they were a delight. I rather leave it there, with Sybil and Matthew alive and everyone together.

I had the biggest crush on Mathew since I laid eyes on him in that final scence from the first episode. .My heart was broken when he died.

I think true love is what Mary and Matthew had. They brought out the best in each other ❤ everytime I rewatch the show I feel every heart thumping , heart wrenching moment between these two. their chemistry is amazing and their story is one of my favorites . I don't believe in soulmates but Mary and Matthew were made for each other.

I tried, really tried to watch "Downton" after Matthew died, but it's not the same. Maybe if Matthew and Mary weren't "Perfect" as Ed Sheeran sings ..

I terribly despise the end of season 3; I fell in love with Matthew. He has an angelical face and his personality is highly noble (like mother, like son). I still watch the series but stop right before the accident in season 3.💔❤

Had Matthew married somebody else he'd still be alive.
