If you come to the U.K. Adam (which I suspect you will do) on your International travels, be sure to try our very own ‘piping hot, caffeinated beverage, TEA! Nothing fancy, but everyday tea, which us Brits enjoy. My own preference is for ‘PG Tips’ teabags, in throat burningly hot water, strong and sweet with a dash of milk. Ideally, several times a day. Perfection.
As for theme parks here, assuming you intend to visit any, be prepared to be very disappointed. Ours just don’t compare to those in the U.S. Universal Studios have bought huge swathes of land in my very county (Bedfordshire), with the intention of building Universal Studios U.K., but until that goes ahead (fingers crossed it will happen), there’s not really much to choose from. You’d be better of going to Disneyland Paris, which I suspect you will off course be doing at some point. Avoid Norther Europe in the winter months because they can be pretty grim, but if you’re going to Alaska in November, at least you’ll be prepared.

You should see if you can donate the use sock at Salvation Army for homeless shelters

IMPORTANT - before you go to any country make sure you notify your bank(debit card) and credit card companies where you will be making charges. Otherwise they willl flag and stop your card as you do not normally charge in those countries = I learned this the hard way when I got stuck in Singapore with no card access!

as a huge sports fan in general i care your visiting all 30 stadium. if i like to travel i probably do the same thing but watch the Toronto blue jays play in every stadium

You don't need to use the fob to get in your car just put the key in door turn it yes alarm will go off put key in the ignition and start car you can open trunk from inside the car I never use my fob to much crap can go wrong you keep them in your pocket can set off the alarm to the car just walking

I think I must say what many of us are often thinking, I believe. While turning 50 is certainly a milestone in any life it is decidedly so in a life full of well, life. I turned that corner in 2015 after retiring the year before. I spent 30 years serving my country in the USN, 1984-2014. I also married the absolute love of my life in 1986 who also served 30 years in the same uniform and we together raised 4 little versions of her, thank God. I lost her in 2016, Pancreatic cancer, and I'll be honest, I did not take it well. I shut down, almost entirely, escaping to a cabin we owned in Colorado cut off from everyone. After nearly a year my best friend found me and talked me off a pretty dark ledge. I've since come to appreciate what I have, what she left me, 4 versions of her that I've not ever again taken for granted. It's now 2024, 8 years later, and I've come to appreciate just how much my wife has left with me. 4 Beautiful daughters and so far 4 beautiful grandchildren. 42 years with my ONE, 30 of which we were married. I guess what I'm trying to say, as tactfully as I can my friend, money, a successful career, things, none of these things alone are ever going to fill that hole in your life. Life can only ever be full when it's shared. It is never too late to fill that void pal, you just need to understand one important thing. You can never know love, not truly, until you're willing to surrender to it. Looping your life's most happy memories, trying to recreate past moments causes you to overlook the possibility you could be making new ones. You seem to do that more often than I believe you're aware. I want you to know, I thoroughly enjoy your content and your approach to it but It would be irresponsible not to point out these things. Life is not forever, it is finite, you can chose to simply exist alone or you can open yourself up and find your One and live. It's up to you my friend. You may discover, all this travel you seem intent on in the next year would be more full with a partner to share it with.

I’m not sure if you are planning to travel to Hungary, but I highly recommend it. Budapest is a beautiful city, and it’s easy to take a train to almost anywhere in the country. The food is amazing, and very reasonable with the exchange rate. The language is very difficult, but many people speak English and will be very happy if you use a few Hungarian phrases
