The actual problem with bajaj is that they couldn't launch discover 125 in bs 6 ,,so despirately they have to offer something in 125 cc series too bcoz 125 cc bikes are really in demand these days..so they are not happy either with this option ,bcoz they are selling this much heavy body in just 125 cc and thst too just in the price of other normal 125 cc bikes..once they will launch discover 110 ,,for sure they will discontinue this pulsar 125 ..bcoz i dont think they are getting as much profit by selling this much heavy body in price range of 125 cc one..

atlast what happened, pulsar 125 has a big sale volume in bajaj motorcycles

If Gixxer has 150 cc version and 1000 cc too ,how is it that only Bajaj diluting their brand, this is a standard industry practice

Currently, the Pulsar 125 doesn't seem to offer much when the 150 Neon is only a few thousands more expensive, but upon the arrival of BS6, I think this bike will replace the 150 Neon in its price segment after the addition of fuel injection and other emission-reducing devices, while the 150 cc versions will move slightly upwards in pricing on the addition of the same components.

If You ask me personally, i would like Pulsar to grow just like the apache which started as a 150cc & is now upto 300cc.

Also if Bajaj continues selling Pulsar 150cc Neon, then 125 isn't going to do wonders for sure..!!

An honest review. But I think, this is like using the iPhone ringtone on some other phone just so people think you have an iPhone. The body and chassis are too heavy for 125cc engine to be honest. My Unicorn has a lower kerb weight than this Pulsar. My main complain though is the styling. Its too old now. Yes Pulsar brand has followers, no doubt. But does that mean you don't evolve the design? Its typical of Bajaj, shoving all possible engines in their portfolio into all thier products and see what clicks. I wont be surprised few months down the line, this bike may even be discontinued like quite few of thier models in the past. RE is doing something with the cheaper series of 350, trying to get rid of old chassis body panels and engine, atleast in thier case the engine and output is same. If one is really keen on a cheaper Pulsar, I agree, the 150 is the only sensible option.

Will be a great commuter for 30+ men.
