The Horrors I’ve Witnessed on Public Transportation | Informer

I live in London and the staff on the public transport, whether it be tube, bus, overground are always pretty friendly so I can never understand why people treat them with disrespect. I’ve been lucky as most of my life living here since birth has been fine on the tube but every now and then you do witness something pretty awful. I’m sure it’s the same everywhere, but yeah it can certainly be a little scary especially at night, after a club. I would mostly get Ubers from nightclubs or bars on the weekends to avoid any drama, but even that has its risks.

This is the same as the train lines in Chicago the blue and red line are always running and you’ll find some very sketchy people on there waiting on the platform feels like forever and the anxiety I felt was awful everytime

I was in London for only a week and I saw 2 fights while riding transport - stay safe people

I don't miss having to rely on public transportation. I can't imagine being a part of it as work. I feel so sorry for him.

I will never step foot in London again. As a Brit I'm genuinely shocked that so many people travel there and believe they are experiencing the real UK. It's the most vile, dangerous city I've ever experienced and I've travelled throughout the world, even to the border of Syria! I've been to London 3 times in the past 20 years and twice I've been mugged and robbed at knifepoint and luckily the last time I was there I went straight to a concert at the o2 and straight back on the bus home up north! London is a true hell on earth.

My only question is how do people stay in these jobs clearly since it’s not just certain ppl cause there are so many of these stories in various lines of works but how high paying are these jobs for them to be that enticing? Or are these people just like sacrificing their own well beings so the rest of humanity doesn’t have to deal with this treachery?? Just wondering

This is really sad when people are working to try and survive but we have people coming in to belittle that, just pathetic and unfortunate. There's always a minority of people whom just do not respect others and themselves.

And the reason we have these problems with people is because we keep getting softer and softer… you steal you lose a limb you do drugs you get kicked ina hole for years you want to be a gang member cool you can sit a cell and only that cell for the next 5 years and wash yourself in the sink. Its a sad reality of the way people are in the current world 😞🌍 we live in. The Bible says the last days of Satins World would go from bad to worse. Read 2 Timthy 3:1-5 describes the bad traits that would be in people . The sad reality peopke dont wont to be Godly peopke in today's world. Thats whats missing is the morals and values that existed decades ago that doesn't exist today.

During a trip to Washington DC, Us. I'm a fairly big guy, i always have been, and i thought i would be safe right? I was. Until i tried getting on a train with the rest of my family and a random guy pulled me by my hair to try to get me off the train. Luckily my cousin saw and pulled me back in.

Working with people like this is horrible. I want to help people (nurse) but I cant deal with fuckheads so I work in a lab instead where I dont have patiens, just their blood, urine etc to analyze.

Public transport on night shifts is never a pleasant experience.

My mom once went on a couple dates with a man who drove trains in the Netherlands. He was suffering from severe PTSD because it happened 3x that a person jumped in front of his train. Absolutely horrifying. I feel so bad for anyone who has to see that.
