The GOAT debate ended when he got his first Career Golden Masters and the most ATP Finals wins. This is just icing on the cake.

Novak has several huge goals remaining that are as imporetant to him as winning the gold:

1. Winning a 25th major, breaking his tie with Margaret Court
2. Winning a 5th US Open, equalling Connors, Sampras and Federer
3. Winning an 8th Wimbledon, equally Federer
4. Winning a 4th French Open, giving him a 4th career grand slam.

Novak has much to play for, and he has another 12-18 months of peak form to do it.

Novak does not play mind games. When are people going to stop making things up? Novak did not move for 4 games against Tsitsipas at the beginning of the 2nd set, which allowed Stefanos to take a 4-0 lead, possibly giving him the edge to win the match. Unless Novak is insane, he would not have stopped moving. He was not pretending. I think his knee had an awkward twist that hurt him sharply, and he panicked. It obviously turned out to be nothing.

One aspect that you really didn't address as to why it was "a different Djokovic" vs Alcaraz in the Olympics vs Wimbledon is simply having more time since surgery, to heal/rehab/strengthen/train. Obviously, the more time that passes, the better: it was 1 month and 1 week from the surgery to the Wimbledon Final, and just under 2 months to the gold medal match - those additional 3 weeks do make a difference. Djokovic was working out rust and more limited movement at Wimbledon than at the Olympics.

Wimbledon has not slowed down siginficantly. It is a myth that the surface has become more like clay. If it truly has become more like clay, how come Rafa won the French Open 5 times from 2017 until 2022, but did not win a single Wimbledon title in that period?

Agree that the men's final was the highest quality match of thr year so far. Djokovic always lays out which events he is going to peak for at the start of the year, and people act surprised when he does indeed peak for them! Sinner may have Djokovic on fast hard courts and Alcaraz may have Djokovic on grass, but I do believe Djokovic is still the best in the world on clay. The Olympics run made me feel like Djokovic's fall at Roland Garros robbed us of another Djokovic v Alcaraz GS Final

Wanting something so badly in sport is not conducive for winning, you see the time and time again in tennis. Novak wanting this so badly, having no more chances to win it and overcoming that pressure was phenomenal. That does not happen and should not be underestimated.

The first fact why I do not dispute Nadal's successes and titles as well as Roger's is the fact that if there were no Roger's and Nadal's successes, there would not be today's success from Novak and he would not have such a desire to perhaps achieve the success he has today (maybe, maybe, maybe. .)
That's one of the reasons why Novak is the G.O.A.T today, although there are a few other factors that have contributed to his immense success that we can all witness today and I'll list them below...

I also think that the two of them pushed him forward the most and gave him the motivation to be better than them, for the reason that they never acknowledged him to be as good a tennis player as the two of them, or "God forbid" just that they admitted that he was better than them, ever or ever, they always stuck together, united against Novak with the support of the majority (99.9%) of the western media.

First of all, because of the support that the two of them had from the media (UK, USA), lynching and challenge from the same, and then from the two of them at the end...

However, the outcome was the opposite, they just gave him additional motivation plus the spite that he naturally possesses in himself, and they created - a madhouse.

(Each nation has something by which that nation is most recognizable, which adorns them as such..., they just didn't know then that when you say: Serb, Serb or Serbia in translation it means - DESPITE. , that's WE, we've been defying those for centuries who try to challenge and break us in every way as a nation, for reasons known only to them...probably to hide the real truth, but the truth always finds its way in the end...)

One or two more facts: Novak would never have chased ALL the records he owns today if the following had not happened:
1. HE HAD STRONG OPPONENTS like Nadal and Roger (motive)..Motive to prove that he is better..

2. That they didn't challenge him THROUGHOUT HIS ENTIRE CAREER, spread their propaganda against Novak through the media, challenged EVEN by other teammates who NEVER WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE Novak's successes IN TENNIS AND THAT HE IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN THEM..

3. and if he didn't have that INAT... if... The latter was the main reason for his enormous success, more precisely for his doctorate/master's degree in tennis as a sport.

Novak Djokovic, an ordinary man, a tennis player ... defeated them all , and that is the main reason why he is GOAT and one of the best sport players in the world of Sports.!!!
