I doubt that this movie will make Patton Oswalt a Billionaire.

I love how the actual movie they are all watching, Chosen: The Final Saga or something, is really fucking bad. Just two seconds of showing the movie play out and you can tell there is no professional filming, the actors are high-school-level, the costumes are unremarkable, the voice acting is even worse than the normal acting, the cinematography makes no sense. And I'm sure this is on purpose. In a later scene, the girl just keeps repeating "what does that mean?" in this bored monotone voice while her lover or something repeats empty wise-sounding phrases.

Meanwhile, every single kid in the theatre is overacting to the immersion and stretching out there arms in unison. I have to believe they are already being manipulating by the alien in some way -- no full theatre would ever react to a 3D movie like that.

What can I say? Ok Zoomer...

Its always funny to me when people freak out for getting popcorn on them in movies. It could have been soda.
