I watched steve as a kid and also when I raised my sister, still as a kid. I remember when steve left and we both cried as we felt abandoned again.

This video came out and we both had a breakdown. He seemed to be talking to us directly about how we now have student debt and families and how life is still hard.

We don’t speak with our parents so his message was like the parent that left and came back to say they did it to make our lives better. It sounds silly but the closure this gave brings me back to this video when I feel down and words cannot express how much it means. Idc if it was his choice or someone elses to do this but he’s a legend.

I was a young mother with one on the leg and one on the hip during Blues Clues’ heyday. Being young myself, I loooooved Blues Clues and even had a little crush on Steve 😂. Me and my (now) grown adults still joke about how crushed our household was when Steve left. I watch this video when my spirits are a bit low and it instantly uplifts my mood. We love you Steveeeee 💙!!!
