Ответитьyou have given me some great ideas for good low-cost meals Thankyou
Ответить$6.26? The sausage alone was $6.19 last week. It is good, though. I usually make half at a time then make the other half a few days later. Would it be ok to freeze it?
ОтветитьThat looks delicious, I'd definitely try to make that once I can get a portable stove top
ОтветитьThat looks yum.
ОтветитьThanks 🙏 for sharing your video
Ответитьif you dont like cheese , what would you use instead?
ОтветитьAfter kale salad "a greasy mess" I'm looking forward to!!
ОтветитьLOVE IT!!!!!
ОтветитьCheap or not that's a good heaty meal!!!!!
Ответитьlooks really good
ОтветитьI do something similar called Kielbasa Casserole. Instead of cooking it on the stove I use the oven directions. I too use 1 cup less as I use 12 - 16 oz of frozen broccoli. Another good addition is a drained can of corn. To change things up I will sometimes use scalloped potatoes instead of au gratin or exchange the kielbasa with either smoked sausage or andouille for a little extra kick.
ОтветитьHeart disease has entered the chat
ОтветитьThis is similar to an old recipe we used to eat. Thanks for bringing back a good memory. You may be familiar with the egg and rice dish with onions and butter. 😊
ОтветитьI use to make this recipe for Deer Camp, minus the Vegetables! Always a hit a camp! Smoked Sausage and scalloped potatoes! I would bake in a foil dish, heat on the fire and feed 6-8 of us for under $10
ОтветитьLooks great
ОтветитьA sincere thank you for your content! I’ve made this quite a couple of times and it is delicious. It’s helped me experiment with different ingredients and helped give me more confidence in the kitchen.
Ответитьman im not struggling but i think i will still make this looks good
ОтветитьI would like to make a correction if I may, the best part of this meal is eating it with the people you care qbout the most.
Ответить🌊🎐🤌 👋👨🍳👍
ОтветитьOh yeah. That looks French.
ОтветитьThis is how food stamps are intended to be used; economical, hearty food to feed families with limited resources. I wish content like this was more accessible to those who genuinely need it.
ОтветитьWow that look good
ОтветитьGood Lord...
How about some decent sausage ($3.99 a lb), pasta, whatever peppers/onions/veggies and a can of stewed tomatoes... add some seasoning. Done.
This was delicious!! I only had one box of potatoes, so I added some flour and a cheese packet from a box of Mac and cheese.
ОтветитьFoods like this didn't have all the harmful additives back then like they do now...
Ответитьheres one for you to add, chop up kielbasa(smoked sausage) potatos and onions and throw em into a casserole dish and fill it to the rim with milk and bake it at 350 for about 60 minutes or until some golden brown milk froth forms over 50% or so of dish, the milk abosrbs the meat and potato flavor as does the potatos and meat, it is divine and cheap asf, only season it with salt and pepper, this is a polish dish
ОтветитьHI THERE I FARTED ON A BUDGET
ОтветитьSo many ways to eat cheap and GOOD!
Don't forget TABASCO! A few drops is all you need! LOL!
😂😂😂😂😂
This would probably be really good with some andouille sausage, corn, black beans and a half a packet of taco seasoning. With Mexican cheese sprinkled on top.
ОтветитьMost folks likely DO NOT even know just what a "Lot Lizard" is!!!!!
ОтветитьLike Your Channel, New Here.. But You Could’ve Made That Cheaper By Just Buying a $3 Bag Of Potatoes. And Add Cheese & Spices.. No Chemicals, And Lots More Food Hun.💛
ОтветитьWork with what you have. This is a great video.
ОтветитьThat looks delicious
ОтветитьThis looks absolutely DELICIOUS
ОтветитьThumbs up if anyone thought there was gonna be eggs involved in some way.....
ОтветитьParadise in every sense of the word….
ОтветитьReally good! I dressed it up just a bit. I cooked 4 pieces of bacon and chopped it into small pieces. After putting into bowls we sprinkled the top with the bacon and a little mild cheddar cheese
Ответитьmultiply costs by 3 or 4 now
ОтветитьAll looks good. Cannot beat using up leftover meat
I though of maybe a roast left over or buying one of those roasted chicken for 5 dollars and using .you know if some high dollar restaurant took this and added lobster all the people would say chef so and so is so creative in making this dish.probley pay 30 or 40 a plate and thinking it's some new fushion of meats and potatoes. How shocked they would be if they found out how he came up with this exclusive meal.
Just found this video good looks Delicious and I will be trying💕
ОтветитьWP, these videos are a godsend for struggling people. Cooking is largely a lost art as well as cooking on a budget. Many today in particular in this Biden inflation need these valuable tips.

ОтветитьIt's a shame you aren't in HS teaching this to the kids today! I might even make this tonight.
ОтветитьThat is the least healthful a meal that a person could possibly eat.
ОтветитьKeep showing us how to eat frugally because it is more important now than ever.
Ответить👀 looks so yummo 🤤
Ответить# chicken 🐔 not # vegetable 🥗 oil would make it even yummo 🤤 than it already is… just saying lol 😆
