I'm not sure which recipe I'm gonna try first. I'm doing keto with a net carb limit of 35 g. Om fixed income and currently my food stamps are cut behind maik theft and covid regs. To get by I'm having to break into my non perishable stockpile. I'm insulin tesitanz because of hoshimotoes. I have hypoglycemia. I just made a curry with a 10 oz can of white chicken, fresh cabbage, purslain, onion, rutabega, and 6 tbsp canned corn. It was cooked with 1/4 cup home made bone broth and 2 tbsp olive oil. As fir seasonings, curry powder, black pepper, and my home made season salt using redmans real, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. And no, I did not drain the chicken since it was in water and not any unhealthy oils. Keto can be restrictive, but it can also be very versitile. It's fun to experiment with new ways to mix and match food

Liver combined with mussels with a dash of cinnamon with lemon or ACV will help improve insulin sensitivity.
Niacin and vitamins and minerals from liver, combined with chromium in mussels, cinamon and acetic acid is a good formula for insulin sensitivity

I used to love making sushi and the one thing I miss most about going low carb is rice. The cauliflower rice with cream cheese is genius! I'm def gonna be making that soon! 😋

What seems to be working best for me, aside from diet, is a little externally applied iodine infrequently after a shower, and liquid quercetin. I suspect some of us get into this situation due to low iodine, especially if we live inland and/or in a desert, and we aren't eating iodized salt. (Most packaged foods that contain salt do not use iodized salt.)

I think chronically insufficient iodine could be part of how habits change toward exercising less and eating more carbohydrates.

All those recipes look amazing, I want to try the chicken mushroom casserole. Can anyone recommend a cook book for me? I have several food allergies that make it hard to come up with good meals. I’m allergic to fish, avocado, coconut, pecans and dairy.

(Harry) I really believe that I have insulin resistance. But after going keto/carnivore / psmf, all my skin tags are gone and used to have a lot of them. Love it! Can't wait to try all of these. I used to eat a heavy carb diet and didn't understand why I had brain fog and would crash in energy. I've learnt a lot. Lost 12kgs and feel so much better.
