Saw a vid of this in action in Ukraine... basically turned any orc near the explosion into a red mist.
You don't even see the body anymore.

Yeah, except that Russians are jamming HIMARS guidance now, they been doing so for the last 4 months. Ukrainians can still use them as standard MRLS, but the effectiveness is lost. Russians are known for figuring stuff out that gives them trouble. They're also pretty good at shooting down the next supposed "wonder weapon", the "Storm Shadow" cruise missile.

I'm a U.S. Marine Artilleryman, this replaced my entire Battery on the East coast . Everyone even said this truck isn't as good as they say it is. And years before this was more popular I even stared and studied my own MOS replacement

Ukraine held out against superior firepower and numbers, through better training and inventiveness for almost a year...

HIMARS is mostly used against civilians of Donetsk. Plus, the Azov nazis in Yelenovla also appreciated full impact.

on accuracy it kind of helps that they are at least few a3 sentry’s awacs lurking around forwarding accurate real time data to the ukraines. without it they would be firing in the dark like any other artillery system no better or worse.

Winning war is all about range. If you can hit them before they are close enough to hit you, you win. Thats why russia can’t win this. They can get all the made in china dollar store weapons they want, its not gona beat american and European state of the art tech.

M142 is not powerful as well as M270. M142 can move fast rather than M270. M142 can shoot only 227mm 6 missiles but M270 can shoot 12 missiles.
