I don't remember the first time I've heard this song. It just feels like I was born hearing it. Like it's a part of the natural world or something. It's so patronizingly peaceful in spite of the subject matter. Anyways what I mean to say is it's a good ass song.

I know it's not about a dog, but my GSD of 11 years was diagnosed on thanksgiving with Lymphoma. Probably 3-4 weeks max with meds, woke up with this song in my head. Funny how the mind works, hadn't thought of this song in years. "But I really feel like I'm losing my best friend" ❤

I had to revisit this song after watching The Blind Auditions, on The Voice. And, it still sounds good after over 20 yrs,!

I know it's about a relationship but this song was playing one young and dumb night on Thanksgiving break me and my cousin had bought a bag of shrooms we were 14 first time on them about an hr and half after we started peaking he picked up a revolver empty out all but one bullet spun it out to his head and bang he lived but it was one of the craziest nights of our lives needless to say he died at 37 from liver failure from alcohol life is strange
