Remember that God the creator of earth and heaven has created everything perfectly with no faults, then why you think He created you imperfect !!!! Your skin colour, your nose, eyes , hight , everything is perfect even if you have lost hair , still you are beautiful, you don’t need to change anything in your body …. In your free time read Quran the book of muslims ponder on its meaning and think deep about it , you will see how much God love you million times more than your parents and even your lover….. good luck

Accepting praise from someone is the hardest when your self esteem is low.. because to you its a “ lie “ or “ out of pity” or “ to not make you feel bad” … its never true to you… because you dont see that in yourself… well yeah im talking about myself and i know a lot of others feel the same!
Idk if i can ever get out of this .. cuz i really dont like myself.. i dont get a lot of love or praises from people around me… but… i’ll try after watching this video…

Even though my life has gotten much better as compared to how it was 3 years back, I've noticed my sense of self esteem is very low. Girls tend to call me pretty, cute and I was even called beautiful twice yesterday in the college welcome party. But I can't seem to believe them. I stare at them in confusion and disbelief, snd sometimes ask them if they're being sarcastic all because I don't see anything in me.

I struggle with body dismorphia, always hating how i look/never being satisfied with anything when it comes to my hair or clothes is a big reason why I battle with low self esteem. I went from being 250lbs to now being in best shape of my life and I still battle these issues.

Is it weird if sometimes I want to dress up as a woman and slap myself across the face.

I learned something new today about myself that. My self harm is connected to high self esteem and not low self esteem. Because I'm autistic which is an extreme level of narcissism. I actually behave better and self harm less when I'm not looking for my own approval. Therefore when I don't feel like Impressing someone, I'm easier to get along with because every time I set my mind to anything, I fail because when my self esteem is high, so are my expectations for myself. When I can't expect anything of myself. I can't fail, Because I know I can't succeed, and I'm not perfect. Pride destroys relationships It destroys lively hood. And it destroys mental health. And the people of today's world brainwash people into a one size fits all for self worth. Not everyone is a celebrity and not everyone needs to look or feel like a Hollywood star to be happy. You can love yourself without being self esteemed or should I say PRIDEFUL.

I didn’t realize that I had self low self esteem until this.I did even justified everything that’s wrong which I’ve experienced and until now I can’t even say no at work.I rarely compliment myself and even questioned if I deserved it. I care a lot about what other people said about me.
