Ive got 2 savor 1/ savor cards. I'd like to know how to product change my 15k one to a venture x. All I get is 10 lbs of nope in a 5 lb bag of never

Go to Southeast Asia and sign up for a Grab membership. Just do it one month at a time. There's so many things you can do with Grab. Really nice thing about Grab is they code every purchase correctly: taxis & limos (Travel or Transit), restaurant delivery, groceries delivery, travel bookings, etc. I use my Sapphire Reserve Visa, Citi Strata MasterCard, add Wells Fargo Autograph Visa. I'm getting 3X transferable points on everything using USA credit cards and paying no foreign transaction fees. And I don't have an address there.

I agree with you Tony. I liked the old design better. Now it's just plain boring.

I use uber/eats a lot. got the savor back in may (?) anyway, that made me sideline the gold card for eats. been getting great amount of "miles" with savor. but.. time to get the gold card back to put work in to get my MR goal to move to the next eco system

Been bucketed for a long time with the quicksilver and savor. Closed the quicksilver today. If they’re not going to give me more $100 each time I request an increase then I’m done with them.

This could be an interesting opportunity for AMEX. They are refreshing the Green card. If you want to make a case for members using and needing Green , Gold and Platinum to all fit together to use all the credit/coupons then add the Uber One membership to the Green card as a replacement to Lounge Buddy. This way members can use the Green card to get Uber One for free and maximize the credits from their other cards.

The only problem with Hertz is that they had an issue with having customers arrested. Hertz was falsely accusing their customers of not returning their car and reporting them to the police. I guess you can status match.

Capital one is going in the wrong direction....... looks like thee going back to subprime..... all the design changes they look like they're getting cheaper and when you actually get the card in the mail it's like a paper card and it's a lot lighter than the original. Seems like they're cutting cost on cards.

Great update Anthony. I've long wanted the Savor One/Rewards for the Uber One membership but couldn't sniff an approval. Silver lining I guess, because now I'm somewhat indifferent to Uber One going away.

Here’s my speculation station stop: the Amex Green gets Uber 1 credit to replace the lounge buddy it’s roughly 120 same as the gold and it will code as 3x, 5x, or 10x because the green will give 5x or 10x on uber starting Jan 1st 2025.

I've been looking into adding the Savor One (now revamped to the Savor) for a while now in order to complete my Cap One Duo and give me an option if for Dining if I want to move on from the Amex Gold at some point, and now is a great time to take advantage with the limited-time offer! Bummer to see the Uber benefits leaving though. Great video Anthony!

I have 807 FICO. C1 said I was preapproved for Savor Excellent Credit but after applying they only offered Good credit (no bonus). This would have been my 1st C1. My wife has the VX, 747 FICO...ditto on the Savor...no bonus.

I agree with you on the card design. The OG Quicksilver was a beaut. The VX ification of the lineup needs to stop!!!

I was in the market for a new credit card and the Savor lined up with my spending habits. There's a limited time sign up bonus that seemed pretty good so I signed up about a day or two after they "revamped" the card. I don't mind not having the uber credit so thats no biggie. The design looks underwhelming in photos, but actually looks and feels quite nice. Besides the 3% cashback for dining, entertainment, and supermarkets, there's plenty of other relatively "hidden" benefits for it being a World Elite Mastercard. The Capital One app also offers additional cashback and benefits when you use the card at a plethora of online retailers. Booking hotels, reservations at restaurants, and purchasing event tickets are also possible through the app and grant additional cashback and sometimes exclusive offers for cardholders. There's an abundance this card offers and all for no annual fee. Granted, i havent had any time using the card yet, but the prospects of taking advantage of it's amenities has me very excited. I've heard/read others complain about Capital One customer service, so let's see how it goes.

I have NEVER been able to even SEE my capital one credit card information on the app or anywhere else! SOOO frustrating!!!

Either way the savor card is a great card. Even without the 10x uber credit. It’s like a free version of an Amex gold but at 3x for dining and groceries world wide with no caps. It also has entertainment at 3x. Master card is also accepted worldwide.

im currently in boston for a trip and using the last of my uber benefit before it's gone. my promotional 0% APR period ends before christmas and ill be closing my capital one cards. im working on chase trifecta and that brings much more value than capital one's partners.

I wouldn’t take Hertz rental car if they gave it to me for free. There have been so many cases of people wrongly arrested because they’ve filed false police reports or people being charged fees for stuff they never used. Some dude got charged for not refilling the gas tank on a Tesla, even though it was impossible for him to put gas in the Tesla because there is no gas tank. No, I don’t mean a fee for not charging it because he returned it fully charged. I guess out of however many rentals your chances aren’t that great to have something bad happen but why even risk that.

Capital one needs to give me more than $1500 credit limit while I’ve been with them for over 10 years 😂😂
