Wonderful video/documentary ... I really appreciate all the work that must have gone into this. I remember that season, I was living in Spain and I can tell you the Spanish TV commentators were really, really jumping up and down and shouting fir the Brazil race with the possibility of a championship for Fernando. It was in fact a great season that kept us on the edge of our seats which is a great addition to all the tech and driver skills and intrigue we normally get. Thanks!

I was lucky to attend the 2012 race at COTA in Austin. What a race.

Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton all on the podium together for the first time, something that would only be repeated on two other occasions - ever.

On top of that, it was the third last race of Schumacher’s career, as the great man would retire at the end of the season.

It was a weekend I will never forget.

2012 was a really exciting year. Not one team significantly faster than the rest. And 7 world champions in the grid. WOW!! I think we will not see that again . Lets hope for this kind excitement in the near future ( 2026 ?? ).

It really was the last good show put in F1. 2013 was Vettel dominance, 2014-2020 was Mercedes dominance and 2022-2023 is RB dominance. The only good title fights, which was basically a monopoly of two people, was 2016 and 2021. Hope in 2024 the gap to RB is closed down and teams like Aston Martin, Mercedes, Ferrari and possibly McLaren are closer to Verstappen

I would throw in the unpopular view that rb that year was leagues ahead driven by capable drivers. I'm not trying to be mean but everyone else I think really showed their class that year.
