YOU Are The PROBLEM: Enneagram Type 4

Its me hi. Im the problem its me.

I’m a 3W4 so I relate to many of these. Looking forward to Type 3!

This is incredibly helpful information. My daughter is a 4 with a 3 wing, whereas I am a 9 (her mom). We are learning so much from each other since we discovered the Enneagram about 10 years ago. I'm 65, and she's 37. It's as though she has given me a new set of "eyes" to see the world. We recently discovered that she envisions future events (let's say a vacation) with incredible detail. I told her that the future is generally a fog to me and unfolds in vague ideas more than images. Also, she is a conversational "scuba diver," and I'm a conversational "snorkeler." She has taught me the value of "diving deep," and I have taught her the importance of "coming up for air."

Important for me to learn to love myself because the world is made for different types and I'm not focusing on my faults for the rest of my life to fit in. I'll just do my thing.

I feel attacked. How can one nourish happy and stable relationships with these characteristics? I feel like everyone will run away if I expose all these :D
