Alla it could be that the acidity in the soil for front plant doesn't allow it to turn red.
A flat white bed sheet makes a great liner for curtains. I've used it twice. Easy to wash, easy to sew, and doesn't add bulk.

I left another comment below but I just have to say how much I love the way you both are putting the house together. Love all of the old pieces that you have chosen. So often in renovations we see new things going into a 3-400 year old home. You even have very old Christmas ornaments…just love you guys! I also have been telling the American Viscountess (Julie) about you…she also has a home in Tuscany and furnishes like you do. That show is (‘Julie in Italy’ on YT). I think you will just love her! Great job, as always!!!

It's a shame that it wasn't sunny enough to see it in its full glory, but the feeling was like in your videos. Someday I'll come back. The curtains you sew are so interesting, I'll really look forward to seeing them hung and the room in its full glory. I wanted to ask you - don't you miss a kitchen in the house? I remember when my husband and I moved, the first thing we finished was the bathroom and the kitchen. I have the same weakness as you - it's hard for me to finish projects to the perfect end, but I'm trying to discipline myself. :) What did you buy in Strasbourg, you didn't show us?

Can’t wait to see the curtains hung . They are going to be beautiful! I love the way the light came through the window and softly illuminated the room. Don’t worry about things not being tidy your renovating. We just renovated a kitchen and now we are working on a small library. So one of our bedrooms we use for guests has many things in it and we are possibly having guests in January. We can only do what we can. You and Sergi are doing a wonderful job!
