When I watched BOB, I immediately spotted Nolan, and I kept asking myself why he looked so familiar... LOL, well, now I know.

Everyone who were involved in the making of Band of Brothers brought the real story to us. We took them all those who served and those acted the parts to our hearts. There they will remain for our lives.

I am an American, and I love BOFB, BUT......I am sad it was not filmed in the USA with a US cast. Easy Company was not Brits.

It's pretty damn impressive that a lot of these actors are from the UK and they played the Americans almost as well as the actual Americans. Thank you gentlemen for portraying these men.

great reunion ,but the sunglassies ruin it.

That feeling they are describing is a taste of the genuine bond of sharing a prolonged intense experience. Freezing together, being rained on, shared grief, shared laughter, shared loneliness, shared togetherness. Only those that have done it, truly know how deep that bond is. These men got a taste of it and STILL it is a bond they will share forever that no one else will understand.

Although Band of Brothers is a top show, it's eclipsed by 'The Pacific...the scenes featuring Eugene Sledge are so so intense. Still BoB is faultless

British actors really played excellent in their roles as American soldiers coz of their perfect american accent. You will be amazed later that omg! their British! Thats why there are so many British actors winners at the Oscars.

I rewatch this series often, in particular I can't stop playing 2 scenes: (a) from the 'June 5th 1944' fade until the end of Episode 1, and (b) the final softball game and narration until Dick Winters last comments in the finale. And the music behind those scenes is etched into me.

Everyone would like to see these guys reprise their original roles and to see the characters they portray on screen again, 25+ years after the war.

They should do a one-off episode or series, using the original cast, set in the late 1960's. Seeing what the real people were up to in middle age.

Great series. It would have been good to have the main cast say some words as none of the guys here were main actors, more like supporting actors

I think what and who they portrayed, their experience in the actor's bootcamp bonded them as the men that they played in the show. There was nothing aside from the pacific gave them the same experience and friendship they shared. Salute to the men..

2023 just got box set again..£1...still in original wrapping too..brand new...its midnight in u.k now so thats my night planned...great series...

The boot camp comments - in the military, it may not be enjoyable at the time - but the morale boost you get in knowing what you can cope with is tremendously powerful. You realise your limits are much wider than you thought and you bond strongly, as a team. Clearly the actors found the same thing.

Fantastic tribute to the men who served in that unit. Really shows the heartache and horror of war and yet the friendship and bonding of those men who went through that horror. When you see the veterans interviewed you can see the deep dark effect it has had on their lives.
The series is just a masterpiece.

Always very IMPRESSED as an American, as to how well these Englishmen got their American accents down..!!!! Wonder if they realize how popular they are in the US..? Good stuff..

Just got done watching BOB with my teenage son.

It’s so sad that they finally had a reunion after 19 years and said they want to have one every year now. But because of Covid those plans were ruined. I really hope they all get together again post Covid 😢

Okie dokie... ive just started watching it . Just watch part 3 . Found i had missed part 2 some how thought the dvd just played all . Oops.
FANTASTIC.... thats all that i need to say . Think it will be my xmas tv watching and get the rest of the family to watch

A reunion with the whole cast (as many as possible) would surely have to take place in Aldbourne! That would be perfect :)

This is just too cool. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and have it on DVD to watch at my leisure. Spielberg, Hanks, Dye, and the whole cast did an amazing job making it all look very very real. It really tickles me to no end seeing a cast member, who's done very well for himself, open up a part of his life for the enjoyment of his fellow castmates to enjoy and commiserate. Such hospitality. The best part of catching up is realizing how old everyone is lol....and how little your friends have changed.

Watching it again now for the 4th time, amazing series
