WRONG! Enable Desktop Remote is not in the desktop remote app, you have to go to settings>> System and search for "enable desktop remote". Even the Windows instructions are wrong. But hey, that is how windows rolls. Took a Network Admin class 10 years ago, nearly every single function failed, we had to use simulator programs. The instructor said that if MS made light bulbs, they would redefine "dark".

This used to be free on Windows, now its for "PRO" users only, which costs more money.
Is there another legit method of accessing one's computer remotely?

NOTE: if you are unable to login with your microsoft password, use the name of your user folder. (ie. C:\Users\YOURUSER) if that doesn’t work, it may be using your display name instead. When I was trying to connect, it was trying to use my full name as my username, instead of the name of my user folder. Hopefully this helps someone!

yeah, sorry but sometimes it's not that simple, and by the fires of hades i wish it was.
sometimes there's a rabbit hole of network setting and credentials you have to check and figure out before it works.
i have had it work literally first time on one computer and after hours of screwing around on another.

and it dosent work probably because i have 2 router and both are on different router where can i enter my ip !!
