Ingredients: -
• 1 kg chicken (چکن)
• 1 medium-sized onion (پیاز)
• 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste (ادرک لہسن پیسٹ)
• 2 lemon juice (لیموں کا رس)
• 1 small bowl yoghurt (دہی)
• 15 cashews (کاجو)
• ½ cup fresh cream (کریم)
• ½ bunch mint (پودینہ)
• ½ bunch coriander (دھنیا)
• 7 green chilies (ہری مرچیں)
• ¼ cup oil (آئل)
• 1 tsp salt (نمک)
• 1 tsp black pepper powder (کالی مرچ پاوڈر)
• 1 tsp garam masala powder (گرم مسالہ پاوڈر)
• 1 tsp chaat masala (چاٹ مصالہ)
• 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (میتھی)
• 2 small cinnamon sticks (دار چینی)
• ½ tsp whole black pepper (ثابت کالی مرچ)
• 4 cardamoms (الائچی)
• 4 cloves (لونگ)

Recipe: -
Marinating the chicken:
1. Marinate the chicken properly with oil salt and ginger garlic paste.
2. Place the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Preparing Chicken:
1. Now add mint leaves, coriander, green chilies, cashews and onion in a grinder. Grind them completely to a fine paste.
2. Add yoghurt, fresh cream and remaining powdered spices to the paste. Properly mix it.
3. Mix the marinated chicken with the paste and set aside for 30 minutes.
4. Add oil to a grill pan and add the chicken. Fry the chicken from both sides.
5. Place a coal in the pan and heat it. Then pour some oil over it and cover the pan to let the chicken get the smoke of coal.
Preparing gravy:
1. Heat oil in a pan, then add whole spices. Fry them for a few seconds.
2. Then add the prepared paste in the oil and cook for some time.
3. Add the fried chicken and mix well.
4. Cover the pan and on low flame let it cook for 10-12 minutes.
5. Garnish the curry with fresh cream.
6. Delicious Afghani Chicken Curry is ready.
