Ive had hightop locs for 7 years. They are below my biceps. I know how to taper fade and cut designs in the back/sides of my head, so i save money by eliminating trips to the barber.

However, I could never master retwisting my locs. This video was extremely helpful and im going to try to do this myself again instead paying a loctician. Thank you !

I have decided to do my own hair from today because I’m very upset, i noticed that the girl who has been doing my hair for 2 years changed my triangle patterns into rectangle and other shapes… now I’ll just have deal with that pattern. My hair locs are getting longer and healthy but it’s the pattern that i am furious about 😅

Very Helpful but i do find because of the texture of my hair im constantly having to retwist like every two weeks its becoming annoying so i started rolling them up i dk anything to keep them in tact

i have one of those mirrors and it is kinda stressful using it like that without the help of another mirror facing you. I tend to see one side better than the other when using this mirror by itself. and you really have some strong blinds, cause i be so scared to hang it on any and everything

What does loc gel actually do as far as locking the hair? Because isn't a retwist ruined at the next wash? (Which is why i prefer interlocking)
