I lost my father Sept 21 2023. He fought so hard. Fucking cancer. I have now became the man of 2 households. I promised myself my kids would never see me weak and crying. I broke that promise once and it will never happen agian.

I just ran into this song while thinking of my gram and aunt and my two dogs and this song fuckin broke me !! As all four suffered through the same shit !! What hit the hardest is the part where he said about watching someone you love passing right before your eyes !! As i seen this happen with both my aunt and gram !! Rest easy gram and aunt sharon+ my dogs max and brownie !! Also to everyone whose lost someone i hope you find peace someday from this horrible feeling as its been several years since all has past in what i said above,but i know damn well that others still feel this shit years and years after its all said and done !!
