another fraudster called me posing as a military person from Dehradoon and stated he will pay rent upfront from some military credit card and sent me qr code request thinking that i would make payment where he said once i scan and click ok i wi receive it. have got multiple calls from different people with same story.

The only rule of avoiding scam: If any unknown ask for money before providing any service then simply say NO. Its a SCAM.

I asked for pan card and Aadhar because he said he is the owner and has property in Karol Bagh, he sent a fake Aadhar and pan card, spotted.

Hello Sir. I am Indian army soldier who has been cheated by jms builder in Gurgaon. I purchased plot in primeland with written confirmation that first transfer will be free. At time of sale they refused to honour commitment and charged high transfer fee. Can you please cover this story as well against such fraud builder

Nobroker is worst. I booked for shifting my house, they asked me to pay 500 in advance, and they never turned up for shifting, when I gave a call they hiked the price without any reason..after that they stopped receiving my call. I lost my Rs.500 for nothing.

Happened to me in Mumbai

When these scams happen openly, why police are not taking any action.? Recently, this week only, the same thing happened with my friend. He is looking for a 1bhk house and started searching on No-broker. He got the call from an owner offering 1 bhk just for 12k in a prime area. I have been staying in HYD for a long so I know the area well and the kind of rent they charge in each area. We both went to the location, and on the way, I told my friend it is not possible you get a 1bhk in this area for 12k because I knew the rent for 1bhk in that area is around 25k. So my friend said okay let's go and check the place..When we went to the place, we saw a nice premium gated community and when we enquired, the watchman said, "Sir, this is a scam. There is no 1bhk unit in this apartment, only 3 and 4bhk are there". The fraud guy asked 3000 for a gate pass. Luckily, I warned him not to pay without checking if it is genuine or not. So yeah, it's everywhere not only in Gurgaon. Guys, be careful. Never pay any advance to anyone pretending to be the owner.

This type of advance was asked a few months ago when i was looking to rent an apartment. I refused to pay and told him come to the location and i will pay you 3000 to see the flat. He hung up 😂 this was in Hyderabad Hi tech city area. Thank you for enlightening us

This happened with me when I was looking fir a rented flat for my daughter. I did pay 2000 to the scamsters, for issuing a visitor card from the society. The complex was supposed to be a very posh one so I believed and paid.
But it didn't end there, they asked fir another 2500 for some other stupid booking fee. It was sounding fishy so I declined. I then checked up if there was actually such property available.
This is where we want to fund a house sitting on our Butts, and they take advantage of that.
Also the photos they show on the website look like an interior designer has designed the flat
