Have looked for an area in Indonesia to live, thought when I find one, will find local dialect videos on YT, but, they only allow 2 dogs on a plane?
ОтветитьI’m impressed!
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьIf I went there for a vacation. I probably will not come back.
To the US.
Beautiful and peaceful.
ОтветитьGreat video and very informative I been thinking to go for jan 2024 . I been gili air 2002 it looks like it’s getting built up now but not spoilt yet
ОтветитьWhy would I have move there when I pay only $255.00 for my property I'm purchasing?
ОтветитьPlace is gonna blow up when they start having motorcycle racing at their new course in Kuta…
That’s really going to change the place. Maybe not for the better.
Prices will go up and things will get crowded …and noisy.
Links to places?
ОтветитьWhich is a good one near the surf? Thanks😊
ОтветитьWas there around 2010 for one month and two years later again. I remember some dusty roads, a handful of homestays and a few restaurants. It has developed a lot.
ОтветитьThis guy's from another planet when he says that $70 a month for a substandard gym that has a fraction of the equipment than a gym in the US, considers the price "Not bad" ughh.. That and when he says that in the grocery store you can get most things you can get back home which I presume is the US.
Even though I've lived in SE Asia for 19+ yrs, there is absolutely NO grocery store on any 'island' that can ever compare to the vast selection in your average US grocery store. Love how these so-called newbie travel vloggers make it sound so idyllic and/or exaggerate when it's nowhere close to reality. Love living in the tropics as the pros outweigh the cons, thus being here for nearly two decades, but be real and truthful with your commentary!!!!
You call that a pool? Anyway it's a bargain.
ОтветитьHis name is Vicky?
ОтветитьSo disappointing to see how westernized this place is already. 63 bucks for a gym in indonesia? 30 dollars for a room? I pay 30 bucks for a hostel in Tokyo.
Why go to a beautiful foreign country if you're just surrounded by foreigners, and the locals are only the 'wait and service' staff?
Uhm… WOW!
ОтветитьThat's the best informative video i finaly found about kuta! thanks a lot for super map navigation!
ОтветитьI spent 6 weeks in bali in 2009. Such a great place. Great memories. If I ever went back I'd definitely splurge on a place that had AC. Looks like a lot has changed over the last 14 years.
ОтветитьNot for me but just writing to say you did good job in showcasing area
ОтветитьI would never spend 30 hours on a plane. I could not do it.
ОтветитьPlease explain how you obtained the essential residence permit and how you sustain yourself.
Ответитьsome of the food prices are exactly same as USA. Would be interested to see the non-tourist area prices. Im sure the locals don't pay the tourist markup prices with their salaries. Does anyone know any part of this place that has true local pricing?
ОтветитьI spent most of my life from the age of 10 taking care of other people. At 44? It's time I look forward to taking care of myself for once. Don't let things hold you back. Family or freinds.
Get out there.
Speaking of coffee? I just paid $25 dollars for a CUP of coffee with some Baileys in it at popular dig , McMenamins in Portland, Oregon (Kennedy School Hotel)
Seeing that I could rent a place out for a month on how much I spend just on coffee sure seems like the way to go.
Lombok on the list. Reminds me of the old Bali from 30 years ago. Thank you!
ОтветитьI was impressed at how well stocked that grocery store was, and was thinking it is better stocked than my current store in the US nowadays. Very nice.
ОтветитьI do not like their voices, so strange whining women sounds , their English is really a head ache to me... maybe you like it.. but to me is detrimental to listen to over and over..🙉🤣
Ответитьwhat about. health care and doctors? what can one as a foreigner get help with there when needed?
dentists?
I need to take a lover and run away from Canada
ОтветитьStupid!! What country is this?
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos. Great information. What is the name of the place you live in bkk? What is the monthly rent?I’m strongly considering retirement from US to Thailand soon. Again thank you for your informative videos.
ОтветитьIn your travels what have you found to be the cheapest country to live on or near the beach close to the locals? Thanks in advance for any knowledge shared. Loving your channel immensely brother
ОтветитьYou're fun! I smile throughout your video...Thank you.
ОтветитьDid I miss it? Where is the house or Studio that is 290 a month? Or was that just a bedroom and a bathroom? And what is the cost of the meals to eat out if one doesn't have a kitchen? And what is the cost of an actual house where you have a full kitchen. His refrigerator I wouldn't how much would that save one from eating out daily to make their own food
ОтветитьThumbs down for the (unnecessary and awful) soundtrack! Otherwise informative video.
ОтветитьThe island is still under construction, generation Z will be better prepared for modernization.
ОтветитьNO AC NO BUENO
Ответитьdoes the bungalow have a shower?
ОтветитьOK WOW....The video answered nearly all my questions and believe me i had a lot. Definitely A MASTER CLASS in how to do a travel video. You had me hooked from the first shot....Good on ya mate....i am a new fan
Ответитьprobably triple that cost now that you've exposed it to the world
ОтветитьHey from Alaska 😡
Ответить...... im indonesian, but i dont see bali the way other locals/tourist do, or like how its depicted these days, since the whole island actually is so very contrast, even locals warn themselves to not try and look for self indulgence reasons to visit the island other than family-related indulgences, for that matter even objectives would most-likely turn to disputes on the surface of the island or just a great place for people with dispute in general, albeit rich in culture and tradition, their ceremonies celebrations and rites are all translated to absogoddamnlutely no more than "Happy Go Lucky - Retain in Silence / Death" and since the fact only either desperate / digressed local would either move there for non other than their own pleasure or economic-misinformation... Bali has no doubt changed its visitors, exposes them, alters their already unenlightened orientation, retards theorization, but will never be for the better... with their base idea of how great their religious/sacred/spiritual carvings are, like they even have some sort of decent apprehension of it.
ОтветитьWow, most of the places you visited in Kuta, my cousin and I ate at those places. Boy talk about going down memory lane. Cool video. Oh, and by the way, I'm going back June 2023!
ОтветитьHow do you find furnished home there. Airbnb are a lot more money than this price you are adverting.
ОтветитьGood price for lodging but it doesn’t seem ugly people freindly
Ответить63 bucks a month for gym and you say not bad? lol. Thats 2x more than I pay in the U.S and the gym was crap.
ОтветитьIndonesia really is the perfect place to visit except for the 30 day visa. 🤪I’ve only been to North Sumatra so far. Palau Weh, Danau Toba, + Bukit Lawang were my fav spots…palau weh was quiet + dreamy, didn’t want to leave. I would love to spend 2 months on Lombok + Gilis but there are 5 of us, expensive visa runs to KL 😅 but maybe worth it 🤔, thks for sharing!
ОтветитьI am Vietnamese but live in US. I would love to take a vacation to go to Kuta Beach. It is much more affordable than we had a EU trip recently. I love riding a motorcycle.
