Great video, question:Do you have a video for the wooden jig that you used to get the bevel? Will be subscribing to your channel.

You do know that it being a file...you don't have to reharden it? Also, if you leave the edge at file hardness, you can use it to curl steel the same way you used it to curl out that wood. The Japanese had a similar tool called 'Sen' that did exactly that.

Nice now I've got to buy a tourch.
I've got a few old files I'll ahve to look real close at how well they cut, I;m thinking they are worn out and dull, this would be a good use for them.
I;m sure the older person that sold them to me won't mind they have found a new use doing woodworking. I think he'd like it.

Nice to see a different kind of knife build. How do you like the angle of the handles? Seems like most draw knives I've seen have much steeper angle to the handles than you've done here. You can probably get more force in your pull with what you've got, though.

Way good job,,, I saw you putting something on the leather? If you were to go to a truck stop, you may find ( green ) polishing compound. Green is for hard stainless and crome. A 10 usd stick would last a life time for knife sharpening. It is about 3 lbs in weight.
Keep up the good work. ...
