AKTINA TV: CYPRECO Presents The Last Kerchief Maker of Cyprus

AKTINA TV report with Elena Maroulleti on the successful folk arts program presented by CYPRECO Of America, Inc., on May 27, 2016 dedicated to the traditional craft of stamped kerchiefs in Cyprus and to the last kerchief maker on the island. The report includes reactions from the audience and dignitaries who attended. The event examined in depth the industry of stamped kerchiefs which thrived in Cyprus during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Guest Speaker was the Consul General of Cyprus in New York, Ambassador Vasilis Philippou. The event was offered with free admission as a public service.
