I have been an Easel pro user for around a year on my onefinity. I am wanting to try this to reface our kitchen. My only thought is to add holes for the handle / pull.

New wood workers are pusseys!
I figured out how to make a faux five-piece raised panel cabinet door out of 3/4" MDF, using Vectric and my Axiom CNC. No rounded corners either ;)
ОтветитьGreat video -- Any tips or advice for using Cabinetmaker to make a shaker style door and also drill the holes for the hinges on the other side? When you select 'Shaker' as the style for the door, then send the pieces to Easel, you only get the option to cut the shaker cutout. If you select 'Flat Panel' as the door style, Easel includes the hinges. Understand that anytime you need to CNC both sides of a piece of material that things get tricky. Our approach is to output both the flat panel and shaker so we get the shaker pocket and the hinge locations into Easel. From there, we cut the shaker panel and perimeter, then we flip the piece, inserting 1/4" spacers on all sides, clamping, then running the hinge and bore jobs for the door hardware. Not the most time efficient process but it does work. Just curious about what tricks the Inventables team has. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьI made this cabinet face 11 months ago. You definitely made the workflow much smoother than mine. lol
