I’ve been carrying a pocket knife since about age of 7. No one taught me, I was just that kind of kid. I was out in the woods adventuring alone with a gun at 9. I feel naked without a knife. I’m fact if I’m dressed I have a knife. I like something small and inexpensive because I don’t want to feel it in my pocket and if it’s expensive I’ll lose it😂

I have a Benchmade Elishewitz knife which is now over 30yeras old. It shows signs of a lot of years of use and carry. The knife is still tight and has served me well. This should continue to last me many more years. You will regret the price you paid.

I bought a dagger for around $250.00 I got it from pallemetto state armory while the slide was on sale for $175. The frame was 50. That is my knife. And eBay you better know for sure before you buy. Silver eagle coins. Guitars and Knives all have dupes from China.

eBay knows that there are fake Benchmade knives on their site and they don’t care.

Been carrying an old timer brand pocket knife for more than 20 years and it was 30 years old when i got it. Still use it every single day and it works fine. Guess i'm just not a knife junkie like this guy is. If it works then why keep spending money on something just because its fancier? Its a knife, not a pair of shoes!

I think the fear that knives clipped in your pocket can get pulled out by getting it caught is unfounded. I've literally rolled down hills through brush, I've never had it even hint that it might come out.

I was scammed on Amazon when I bought what was advertised as a Hultafors axe. When I received it, it had come from Pakistan and the head was made of cast iron, and clearly wasn't Swedish made. I sent a scathing review and complaint to Amazon, the seller kept trying to pay me a partial refund to remove my review. That made me send another complaint that he was doing that. In the meantime I bought the actual axe from an outfitter store and the quality difference was huge.

I was driving and saw a open knife in a major intersection, I was able to get out and get it, I was thinking it was a cheap Walmart knife and didn't want it to end up in a tire or kids finding it. as i walked back to my car I saw the Benchmade logo, it was an Osborn 940. I looked up all the info to tell the difference from a counterfeit to the real deal and it is a genuine one. I cleaned it up and apart from having some of the finish word off from cars running it over it is in great shape. I love it. I imagine it worked itself loose from a motorcycle riders pocket. Glad i was able to give it a good home.

I've used nothing but Gerber American made. Never an issue and does exactly what I need it to do !

Regarding the pocket clip, i love to use it. But i have the knife inside the pocket so the clip sits outside, that way it cant get knocked off.. This also gives you quick access to the knife without having to rummage in the bottom of your pocket. Finally if it's a small knife this stops it from sitting sideways in your pocket.

Benchmade, Microtech, and Spyderco counterfeits are seemingly everywhere . Amazon frequently sells them, even though they have a no counterfeit policy. As a knife collector the best advice I can give is always buy from reputable dealers. White Mountain knives sell the base 940 for $219, offer free shipping, 10% off codes, and no sales tax so it works out to $197.10 delivered.

The funny thing is that someone would even spend $200 on a pocket knife LOL. I'd rather take that money and put it towards a pew pew. Wow the money people have to trow away on vanity, shew I work too hard and have too many mouths to feed to spend more than $10-20 on a knife, tools cost way too much to be spending so much on a tiny blade. But I understand some people don't work hard and have plenty of money they can waste on nothing, if you were frugal you wouldn't get ripped off very much at all and would be able to have more stuff.

I actually thought that most people that are collectors knew that eBay Amazon anywhere other than the actual website and even then you've got to be careful because they've made clone websites because every bit of this if it isn't already made in China it is simply copied and made in China just like the clothing Market not just China sweatshops here in America everywhere you have to be careful that's for sure I'd not have to really worry about that because there's no way I could afford $200 for a pocket knife that had a Benchmade automatic open when I was in Afghanistan I absolutely love that thing and after I got back I have not been able to find it

Amazon also has a lot of these Benchmade knockoffs sold as genuine. For popular high dollar knives, you need to go the a dedicated reputable dealer.

Amazon Ebay or any third-party site is a flip of a coin. I won't trust any of them.

Whenever you get scammed and your not happy always put the persons name and account in the video or link their ebay account in the comments so that others don't fall in their trap. Do this enough times and who knows maybe the scammers won't be able to scam others so easily next time. INFORM US! Good video very nice knives I do like that Benchmade.

I don't support Benchmade since they proved they are anti 2nd amendment. Seems people have forgotten about that

Great video, I just backed off bidding on a few Benchmades and this solidified my decision. Sorry you got scammed my man. I know Benchmade’s are spendy but they are quality knives.

Thanks for sharing. I immediately ran to check my Benchmade for a possible counterfeit, but it's good. My Benchmade is my EDC, my Spyderco sits on my end table in the TV room.

Never buy knives off eBay. Especially benchmade

feeBay has a universal response to complaints of fraud: "We're only a venue." I have not bought anything from them in YEARS. I cancelled by account. There are decent knife retailers out there, just put in the effort and don't be fooled by feeBay "bargains".

I typically carry two. A Swiss Army Knife Camper beside my wallet and a single-bladed locking blade like a Benchmade 950 Rift, 940-2 or a Kershaw Conciege, etc. clipped in a front pocket. When doing chores I’ll add a 4” fixed blade in a sheath.

I had this one, country cool dude, i asked him if he had a knife one day, i guess i left mine in the truck, he said no. I said what, why, he says never needed one..... huh i thought to my self, guess you dont do much. But also i don't think he had a father around growing up.

2 things I have in my pockets when I put my pants on everyday, a pocket knife and a 8’ tape measure. I just don’t feel dressed without them.

No use for a Benchmade. At least not anymore. In fact I will never buy another BMKC product ever again, unless its mint condition new old stock from the 90s to 2000. Lot of reasons...but they made those decisions.

I've been carrying an elcheapo Buck 373 3-blade for many years. I used to ask my grandfather if he had his knife and his answer was always "I have my pants on, don't I?" I've had many knives over the years and have lost only two. But one of those was my beloved Queen bone handled knife - my first knife purchase when I was a teenager. Thanks for your videos.
