Apologies, but I seem to have omitted that this will hold 20 Cubeamajigs boxes in it. Again, this will hold Cubeamajigs. 20 of them.
Ответитьcard slayer
Ответитьit looks awesome for magic but horrible for yugioh sadly which I was looking for
ОтветитьYep...looks like another overpriced box to me. How do you tell people to "buy singles" and then promote pointless spending in the same breath?
ОтветитьThe "card slayer" as I'm calling it, is my favorite so far. I love it! But I can't afford it. Sad.
Ответитьlove the nub!
ОтветитьI usually buy Quiver card cases but I may have to check this out ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI noticed that the academic took most of its design inspiration from the cards lair. I never got a cards lair because it didn’t fit what I needed (either wanted large storage with a giant compartment or small storage with features), but the academic works better as an all-in-one for taking to the LGS.
Ответитьdoes this fit dividers?
ОтветитьFeels just like his product but bigger
ОтветитьYou a lier !!! kkkkkk i was do a same test . . . . . .a lot of cards in to the ground ^_^
But a great product gamegenic cards lair 400
I wish there would be a 200+ version
ОтветитьCan the Card's Lair fit few GameGenic's Squire/Sidekick Deck Box?
ОтветитьGreat review! Appreciate the work that goes into your videos, especially review videos, due to the fact that I’ve definitely avoided wasting money on products that you’ve shown won’t hold up as well. Also, love the jacket! Every video I watch makes me want to rebuild my wardrobe with some more style lol
ОтветитьHow am I just now realizing this is the exact box the professor based his off of!?!
ОтветитьWhile patiently waiting for the Academic delivery, I trimmed the divider out of one of my Lair 400. It now holds 4 80+Boulders. It isn’t as elegant as the Academic’s plexiglass divider, but it makes me happy. At least until I can pick up the 266 Academic.
ОтветитьHonestly one of my favorite deck boxes.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how many double sleeved cards using kmc perfect hards + Dragon shield sleeves the main-compartment can hold?
Thanks in advance :)
It might be a bit late, but I just brought this thing because of your review. Thank you very much, really love it.
Ответитьdo these fit ultra pro mini snap cases? Looking for a box to hold a bunch of these
ОтветитьI think to absolute perfect case for me, would be this with an added area for a playmat. And if I wanted to get greedy, the area with the notebook slot...I'd rather there be four slots across that area, sectioned off for top loaders. :x
Ответитьi need one thats like just a tinyyy bit bigger
ОтветитьI wanna buy this product at my lgs. Pity my country adds a lot of import tax to the price.
ОтветитьIsnt this the larger version of "the academic"
ОтветитьSlim chance that people still read this, but can anyone tell me if these fit the magnetic 35pt cases from Ultra Pro or Ultimate Guard? TY!
ОтветитьMany non Magic: the Gathering player asked the question: Why do i keep watching these videos?
ОтветитьI recently picked this one up and I have to say, it is definitely my go to, I love the aesthetic of just opening the lid and seeing my cards there (just a personal preference)
Ответить"Lets compare it to my beautiful 133+ Academic" 😉
ОтветитьWait, isn't this The Academic? Wtf!
ОтветитьSo it’s your deck box but bigger
ОтветитьLooks like a longer version of the Kickstarter he is currently running with identical features that you can buy right now but for 5 dollars more. Very cool.
ОтветитьBased on the thumbnail, this is pretty much a 400 card Academic. Defiantly nice if you wanted an academic like box now, but it holds too big of quantity for my taste.
Edit: It also seems to have less quality of life features and lacks the ability to put in smaller deck boxes based upon the fact it doesn't use a removable divider.
I need the combination of these two products. I want your Academic-style deck box that holds 2 or even 4 boulders with the same drawers for tokens. That would be the dream.
Ответить'love the nub'
can you have that engraved on the inside????
This seems awfully similar to another recent Gamegenic product you may have heard of called 'The Academic'
ОтветитьOh cool! the flap things (to get drawers out) are on your academic box too aren't they?
ОтветитьCan the dice tray fit the click wheel from Commander Arsenal?
ОтветитьAnyone know if the 400 double sleeved cards fit in comfortably or are they stuffed in like a Boulder?
ОтветитьJust got the Gamgenic Card Lair, and I'm giving it a B-. While its a solid, well-made item, the gimmicks of the lid, trays and side pocket are just that...GIMMICKS. The "open footprint" is universally a non-issue, since you don't need it open for a significant amount of time, and thos side pockets are complete waste of design space serving no real purpose. Seriously Prof., no gamer has a the will or a phone that thin to put it in there, and it's mis-sized for quite a few over sized cards. The trays do make it unique, but that's still a lot of wasted space, anything you would use it to store (dice, token, loyalty markers) would be just as organized in the standard deck box most people use...which this will not hold because of the wasted space on the sidepockets.
ОтветитьHey Prof,
I know you said the Gamegenic 400+ doesn't fit deck boxes, but I was pleased to find that the cardboard boxes that the precons now come with do fit, which does make it easy to identify decks, and the rigidity of the cardboard isn't that big of a deal, since they're safe inside the card case!
Do we have a review of the Lair 600+? I work at a store so I see it everyday and it looks like it would be good for TCGs as well as RPGs.
ОтветитьWould love to see a version without the side compartments, and instead use the extra width to support deck boxes.
ОтветитьLEAVING A COMMENT
ОтветитьWho doesn't love the nub?
ОтветитьHey Guys i need some help. I am searching for a product where i can transport multible satin towers with dice compartment. Any tips?
ОтветитьLooking forward to your review of the Games Lair 600+!
ОтветитьHad my LGS order one after watching this video, and it is perfect for the 2-4 player cube my wife and I draft. Fits the 180 cards plus 100 basics plus all of our tokens sleeved, the dice, and blank infinitokens we use.
ОтветитьAm I crazy or are the small flaps for the tokens genuinely cute?
