This song used to mean so much to me... but after the death of her son and all the pain she surely went trough, now is hard for me to lsten to. It feels like it has no true meaning anymore because life broke her heart over and over again so she could never really heal... She fell into hell once more and her brave and beautiful heart just couldn't resist it. The song used to give me hope anbut d now it doesn't feel that way. So sad. I wish I could find an answer. God bless her.

As a mother of a child who isn't expected to live to adulthood I can imagine the pain she felt at losing her child to heartbreaking circumstances of taking his own life. Your now pain free Sinead and reunited with one of your children. RIP

Why in the hell did her label NOT release this in the USA as the first single from that awesome album? It would have been a huge pop hit. It was a smash in the UK. I think Sinead’s record labels failed her as much as (or more than) she made things a bit difficult for herself, at times.
