I have a grand daughter who is hearing impaired...but I think her mother is not curtailing or stunting her growth like in this movie...I love this movie, when finally the girl fought for her right as a qualified adult, releasing herself from her controlling mother....BRAVO!!!!!

They make a beautiful looking couple. Also, great match. He is cold in the cold in a robe. He's sick & giving his money away. Diff of her rich mother compared to him. If she only knew it might humble her. Also, the rich guy's son trying to rape her. Wonder what he said in the phone too. Ofc was about her to a scum friend like him or another gal. He could have asked his friend to give the old man the money gyor the news papers. That only will last him a short time. He needs permanent help. Crazy risk his health. He thought he'd die so he had to do it himself. Sad & not fair. They should have been happy & married long life together. He took his life. I saw it long ago. I won't cry again. They never got to make love, but it was pure. He was s prince & respected her.

Oh my gosh!!! I had started watching & fell asleep. By chance, today, this movie popped up again. I had forgotten that I started watching before. Almost tuned out thinking it was too sappy - glad I finished watching. Perfect timing on a dreary rainy day.
OH boy, DID I cry & cry & cry. I lost my only child a couple years ago. He was someone who 'lived' every dang minute of his 30yrs here on earth too. Just yesterday, someone much younger, who knew my son, yet did not know he had passed away, shared with me some beautiful sentiments about the kind, compassionate & funny guy my son was. It was so touching to hear & for that young man to shar. My son was easy-going, smart, witty, as well as strong & also stubborn, yet all those traits made him so loved & missed. He would have been one to buy a paoer from George too. He cared as deeply as he is missed. At a wedding of one of his best friends, the groomsmen, most of whom were casket bearers, cried over a couple shots for their buddy. It was so touching to see so many almost grown men paying tribute to my boy. Thankfully, I have two awesome grands to carry on his legacy. Definitely the answer IS LOVE! ❤❤❤
