everyone says to see the between the sheets of marisha for a better and deeper understanding of Baeu's story and I just wanted to ask what to search and if it has spoilers for the campaign? I am new and binge watching the campaing two and the only between the sheets of marisha I found was about the ending of the campaign? I may just searched the wrong thing that's why I am asking!

So many fantastic moments this episode, but my favorite rn is Beau describing the threshold crest like a giant cheese wheel or butterscotch candy :D

A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON

You know something bad is about to happen when the DM just hands you a Holy Avenger and a handful of magic items at once

also the barbarian only having +2 CON and not taking the ioun stone of fortitude hurts me deep within

Dairon saying she's proud of Beau and Beau replying that she's trying not to let Dairon down........ and then immediately telling her that they lost a really important ancient magical artifact

The unexpected Beau healing in this episode was wonderful

Not sure if anyone else has noted this but the lore around the Luxon closely resembles the plotline of the RiverWorld by Philip Jose Farmer. It's likely a series that Matt has read as well so it was likely an influence, unintentionally or otherwise.

As someone from the Cleveland area I can confirm the shittiness lol

I remember from C1 that the reason the party gave the Holy Avenger to Kima was because it was a Paladin weapon, not because no one could use a two-handed sword. If they decide to stick to the rule, then only Fjord will be able to use the sword. He can give Star Razor to Yasha but it is such a perfect weapon for his strategic play style, I don't see anyone else who can pull that weapon off but him.

Laura insiting on the check on the dagger is just SAD...There are NO reason IN game for it..Veth is a rouge, with a dagger...WHY would it change for a rod...

I'm a little confused and put-off with the whole Price Is Right giveaway of powerful magic items...sure, it could make the coming battle epic, but I wish the M9 had clues to a possible weakness to exploit and win this on merit and not "get free shit". It feels like more divine intervention.

Halas is similar to Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls. There both super strong magical beings, trapped in another plane/ dimension trying to get to the physical word and get a body to control, and offer great wisdom if you let them possess you.

Also “do yashas dream of kitten ninjas” = “do androids dream of electric sheep”
