If The Quran Is Enough – Why Do We Need Hadith?

Quran is complete, we don’t need hadith 🙏 may Allah guide us all

i'm a recent revert , I have read all Quaran and I have not seen anywhere written to follow any hadith. I don't understand why people would follow something other than God's word. Also I'm doing more research to check if the Prophet (PBUH) wote anything and said "do this" so far nothing has come up. Just other men claiming the prophet said this and that .

Both verses above, once again using the word "hadith", contain the same clear commandment: not to follow any source of religious guidance and law other than the Quran. We also read:


A Book has been brought down to you, so let there be no constraint in your chest because of it, and so that you may warn with it. It is a Reminder for the believers.

Follow what has been brought down to you from your Lord and do not follow any allies besides Him. Rarely do you remember! 7:2-3


The words in 7:2-3 contain clear instructions to follow the Quran and nothing else.


Or do you have some book in which you are studying? 68:37


In 68:37 God is mocking those who have other books besides the Quran which they follow.


And this is a blessed Book which We brought down, so follow it and be reverent so that you may attain mercy. 6:155

Once again, we read about the command to follow the Quran. No other source is mentioned.

The hadith advocates state that we should follow the hadith because it has been proven to be authentic! However, the question of authenticity is not a factor in the command in 45:6 above.

And so the question that is posed to them is: what about 45:6, 7:185 and 77:50?

The words in 45:6 prohibit ANY hadith other than God's revelations (Quran). The question of authentic or not authentic is not mentioned anywhere in the command in 45:6.

"What is the issue?" The issue is that the islamic world is following the word of men that wrote down fake stories instead of just the word of Allah.

Hadiths are corrupted. Qur'an is the ONLY uncorupted religious text. It was dictated by god.

God says in surah 39 verse 23 <<ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبًا مُّتَشَٰبِهًا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ >>

Which means << Allah has sent down the best haddith a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray – for him there is no guide.>>.


All the other haddiths are made up stories and lies attributed to the prophet peace upon him. The prophet himself was astray and was guided by the revelation (Qur'an) himself said multiple times in the Qur'an that he is only following what was revealed to him which is the Qur'an.

So... for 200 years what were people following?

Did prophet Mohammed order someone to write Hadith ? NO !! So what are those ppl doing ??

ISIS follows Hadiths in detail and they are so called sahih hadiths from Bukhari

We don't need the hadith guys , plain and simple. Quran is the only guidance we need.

Quran said to follow Propehet Muhammad never said to follow hadith. Following hadith doesn't mean following prophet Muhammad because if I want to follow hadith we need to keep our trust on hadith writers but Allah never said to trust on any hadith books or any hadith writers. Quran is totally not true. Muhammad was a false prophet. Islam is a violent religion and we know it. Y'all were supposed to act weak and act agreeable when outnumbered and impose your false God when the majority.

a lot of things are described by the ahadith, for example we have extracted how to pray from the sunnah. the Qur'ān has not specified how to pray. another example is hajj, the Qur'ān does not describe how to perform hajj we have simply extracted it from the sunnah. why are you even praying the way you do if you don't even believe in sunnah? why was Muhammad ﷺ even sent as a Prophet if he served no purpose (may Allāh forgive me)? because according to Qur'ānists logic the Qur'ān is all we need, but then again why do we have sunnah and why did Allāh even send down Messengers to us?

how people can just disregard the ahadith is a little crazy to me. it's ok to have doubts but disregarding ahadith is not the way. education is important that's why lol. i'm glad i was raised in saudi arabia and here we were taught the science of ahadith in depth. we learnt how the ahadith were compiled in detail. after learning all that i could never just disregard the ahadith like most people here are doing, not to forgot a lot of people cherry pick what ahadith they want to follow regardless of whether they are authentic or no, let's just say some people can't accept that Islam is not sunshine and roses. may Allāh guide us all.

Bukhari and Muslim are the 2nd most important islamic sources for Sunni Muslims after Quran . Why ? Allah knows best. I think they are even more important bc there are no different versions like Quran. Arabic Quran has many different versions with different words called riwayat . For expl in Egypt the read Quran ba Hafs an Asim. In Lybia they read Hafs and Qaloon in Marocco they read Quran by Warsh other parts of Africa they read Quran by al Doori. All different garbage

I was raised Catholic. I am not muslim. Just recently (past few years) I've been trying to get closer to God.

For awhile I was looking to Islam, but every time I get close there's another outlandish Hadith.

Yesterday, I discovered men are prohibited from wearing the color yellow! Is it a real Hadith??? I don't know!

What attracted me to Islam was its simplicity. One book. One Quran. Everything you need to know is there. But no...

As an outsider looking in, the Hadith seem dubious to say the least. They really seem to poke holes in Islam's argument for being the true final revelation.

In reference to the "corrupt" Bible; many muslims say "where is the Trinity in the Bible!?"

[Quran 18:27] You shall recite what is revealed to you of your Lord's scripture. Nothing shall abrogate His words, and you shall not find any other source beside it.

[Quran 6:114] Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

[Quran 45:6] These are God's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe?

[Quran 5:50] Is it the law of the days of ignorance that they seek to uphold? Whose law is better than God's for those who have attained certainty?

[Quran 5:99] The sole duty of the messenger is to deliver the message, and God knows everything you declare and everything you conceal.

[Quran 5:48] Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with God's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you.....

How does “Obey the messenger” ( at the time the Quran was revealed ).
