Consider an 'expert by hyptnotism' surgeon, opera singer, billiards player or acrobat.

BAH... Man, I really like Darren Brown, but this is BS. There is a LARGE member of the population that CAN NOT be hypnotized. For EVERYONE in the audience, being affected is a literal impossibility. It's a good show, and it is A SHOW, I hope this wasn't presented as being true. The human condition has built into it a “will to live” that can't be blocked by hypnosis, the sub conscience rules you more than you think. Pity Darren picked this “experiment”, its pseudoscience.

All I'll say is I believe. I went to onr of his shows as a fan but also with skepticism. I ended up getting randomly picked to go on stage. Long story short...his suggestiveness worked on me. Not to that level..but to a point where I can see it as very plausible with months of prep like he had. I was on stage for maybe 6 or 7 minutes...

The US School Shootings look very suspicious from this point of view. They are uniquely American and cause social anxiety. They are used in an anti-firearms campaign. Not saying this is the case but shoulld be investigated.

Derren is fully devoted to his work. I can't imagine the number of hours he has committed to it. I respect so much that he makes a point to tell his audiences that he is trained and uses slight of hand and mental tricks, among other things. In other words, he makes it clear that he doesn't truly practice black majick - a dark subject that many would want no part of.

Ever since I first saw it, I have thought that the talk Stephen Fry was giving had words and phrases in it that, to a suggestible individual would help him submit to the other suggestions Derren placed around him.

The lady in the polka dot dress was a possible Sirhan Sirhan handler. How interesting that he included that in his demonstration. Also the target range which was also what SS thought when he was shooting at RFK. I am assuming although not stated this shared theme was intentional. I did not watch this whole show so I may have missed that it was a recreation of the RFK shooting.

the only thing I don't get about this is, though people jumped, no one freaked out. And that confuses me. It's not like Steven Fry typically does things like this so you'd think people would at least scream or be scared. example, a mild boom goes off outside the manchester arena, some think it was balloons but allot of people cry and scream rushing to escape.. This really shouldnt be any different especially after the Batman theater shooting, there was an active shooter in the room but no one screams or cries. and I do have to question that
