Ответить1st: not everybody wants to be a bodybuilder so no, exersice doesnt need to make you bigger, some people like me enjoy doing lots of cardio, and if thats not excercise i invite you to run 10 km non stop, or to ride bycycle for 50 km dont want to ride that much? Good then ride 15.6 km up a hill like i did this morning, or to swim for an hour straight, i mean after all it is not exersice how hard can it be ??
2st : Calisthenics DO build muscle and strenght, however it is true that doing the progressive over load is faster and easier while lifting weights but that does not mean that calisthenics is bad at it
Conclussion: Exersice in the way that you enjoy the most and forget about what people say, people that doesnt exercise believe that guys who go to the gym are stupid because folks like him, stay in shape and stay smart please
