I promise I didn’t post this early just to throw off all the “babe wake up” comments 😂
Just goofed up when I scheduled the video and didn’t set the time right. Enjoy the 11 hours of early access!
I laughed at the Enderman who photobombed you during the outro! "I want to say goodbye too!"
ОтветитьWell then, I just entered the end in my world, and I've got 2 dragons! Wish me luck! 🤣
ОтветитьI watched this video 5 or 6 times before working up the courage to fight the dragon. I made it through and finally have some shulker boxes 😊
Ответитьit would be really cool to make a Fallout style hazard wasteland type of farm in the end centered around growing chorus fruit and ranching shulkers or something
ОтветитьI am loving season 3. Would you be averse to doing an episode on Minecraft launchers, resource packs, data packs, client side mods, and other customizations? Your tutorial talents are amazing and I have friends that always ask me for help with these things and would love a resource I could share with them.
ОтветитьPix: You’re only supposed to have one dragon egg per world. looks at Grian and Doc
ОтветитьWhat was that background noise during the fight?
ОтветитьMuch respect to you, Pix. Entertaining & informative as ever!
One little question (which may have been dealt with in other comments I may not have read) :
When you describe how to pick up the dragon egg, it kind of assumes knowledge of that special MC dynamic sometimes referred to as "the torch trick".
For example, any item which is affected by gravity (like gravel), will be automatically converted into an entity which the player can pick up, if it falls onto a torch... have I got that right.
In any case, I'm pretty sure it is this dynamic which enables the player to pick up the dragon egg after the fight.
Apologies if you had explained this elsewhere. And I look forward to watching your ongoing adventures in MC! :-)
This Cliffhanger...cmon, pix! 😂
ОтветитьIt’s amazing how the Ender Dragon is a kind of gateway into a different kind of Minecraft. You go the entire game without beating it and have all these adventures without reading those beautiful credits at the end or marveling at your victory over the beast.
I have the pleasure to say I’ve beaten the Ender Dragon once in single player survival. You know when that was? A month ago. August 2023. I’ve been playing this game since release 1.0 and it took me this long. However, I’m not angry or jealous of how long it’s taken me. The experience was wonderful and reading those credits and taking the egg gave me a sense of supreme satisfaction.
Beating the Ender Dragon is not a race to me. It’s a challenge to go the extra mile, to not stop just at the Nether Fortress or to just keep building my castle. It’s a point where I finally pushed through the veil of a regular Minecraft world and one where the power of flight was now a possibility. Although it took me ages to actually get to the fight, the battle itself was wonderful. I had fully enchanted diamond armor and weaponry like the days of old, and my skills with a bow were actually quite good. It gave me an ending to an age of my childhood that gave it a nice finish. I finally beat the game that I’ve been playing for years. I loved it. And I continue to play today with the same passion for creativity.
...No comments on you punching your house at the beginning of the video? I couldn't help noticing the particles. :-)
Ответитьi never would have done this on my own if i hadnt been following along with you in this series. i just defeated the dragon on my own for the first time and ive been playing MC for many years
ОтветитьThe smile in his voice when he hit the crystal through the bars :D
ОтветитьWhat's the best direction to find the cities?
Is using a flying machine the coolest (and loudest) way to find one?
This reminds me of when I used chorus plants to grow a fancy fence. Good times.
Ответить"You can only have one egg per world..." he says, before hastily adding "Unless you're Docm77."
Ответить69 very nice
ОтветитьOn Bedrock you can see the outer islands from the main island, only because Bedrock has a max render distance of 96 chunks (PC only). You might be able to do the same with the Bobby mod on Java.
Ответитьyou forgot to mention that hitting the dragon's head does four times as much damage as hitting it somewhere else
Ответить"69, very nice."

Great video man!
ОтветитьWill be making an episode this season about manipulating End Gateways? Has anything changed about that process? Also, did you see that the Minecraft Wiki managers have a new website, instead of the horrible Fandom wiki?
ОтветитьCurious why you didn’t bring an unbreaking 3, mending book with you?
Thanks for posting! Love the series!
I'm so excited now that you beat the dragon! The whole world is going to open up I can't wait to see what you do with it!
ОтветитьThat Enderman wanted a cameo with the one and only Pixlriffs during the ending lol
Ответить69 very nice indeed
ОтветитьI started playing Minecraft before granite came out. Minecraft has been my favorite game for a long time by now, but I rarely ever have the motivation to make it to the End :/
ОтветитьExcellent as always! Scaffold, like ladders but better, why didn't I think of that?
ОтветитьForgot to bring a spyglass for the advancement
ОтветитьLast time I fought the dragon she actually yeeted me INTO the void. I couldn't do anything. Maybe if i i had taken a slow falling potion with me but dang, what an embarrassing and slow painful death lol
Ответить69, very nice
ОтветитьWhat happens if you mine all the obsidian towers in the End and then respawn the dragon?
ОтветитьGreat episode.
ОтветитьIf I watched this series when I was getting into Minecraft back in the beta, I'd have loved it
I still do 😂
I would argue that you should use an axe instead of the sword during this fight, 1) crits higher and secondly more important you don't have the sweep attack, so if an enderman has aggro on you, you don't risk hitting another enderman q.e.d.
ОтветитьI wouldn't recommend slabs at all for bridging, particularly on a multiplayer server.
It might be fixed for now, but there's been plenty of issues in the past where the server "disagrees" on how you placed a slab causing you to fall through the block.
Another option is to use some of the wood to craft a double chest and dump your gear in there before bridging. If you die, the most you lose is some bridging supplies, and you don't have to worry about beating the despawn timer to get your gear.
This fight is so much harder to do in bedrock.
The slower health regen.
Can't shoot the crystals through the corners of cages either.
Endermen will teleport out of boats and minecarts when attacked in bedrock too 😅
Love the content tho pix. Been watching since season 1. ❤️
hey pix ! at last happy to have reached late game stuff in survival guide ... waiting for some impressive project..
As an unrelated request/note: will you start a new 1.20 skyblock series , a lot has come to skyblock lately and new mechanics and stuff and personally your skyblock series ( both 1.15 and 1.16 ) were arguably the best skyblock series I've come across.!
babe wake up. pix posted 12 hours early
Ответитьcareful with water bucketing when holding a shield! I was digging a hole for a beacon the other week, jumped down with the intention of landing in my own water, found that my shield activated instead of deploying the water... splat.
ОтветитьGreat fight! You took care of her a lot better than I did. Your real skills on the bow shots show up. Amazing shot up into the cage on the crystal, too.
Didn't watch this immediately as I am following along on this seed (on hard.) I didn't want spoilers and I was just about ready to jump into the portal when you posted. Epic, epic luck on the city!
Perhaps you can get the 'You Need a Mint' and the 'Is it a Plane?' advancements when you re-spawn the dragon. But the fight when you can fly is so much easier. And just as fun!
Hey Pixl, all Ican say is... so close yet so far... was hoping for a quick raid but wil have to wait for the next eps. Thanks Pixl for this eps and see you in the next one. Cheers
ОтветитьHey Pix, a bit of helpful infor about the coras fruit is it doesn't just teleport you to a random location it teleports you to a random solid block within a radius. Its very helpful if falling into the void or a high place to get you back on solid ground.
