@danielryjov this is the kind of reps I’m talking about. How many reps can you do like this with 225, certainly not 100. Maybe 50 to 60 I would love to see it.

I like the bedroom style soft whispering of encouragement and the hip thrusting of the spotter

That's pretty strong, but I wonder how many reps he'd get if he didn't bounce it off his chest every rep.

Fun fact: My dad lifts casually and in his prime could hit a max of 440lbs (199kgs). At that time, mine was 360lbs (163kgs). We had a 225lbs contest. I hit 225lbs for 23 reps and thought surely he’d have me beat. He gassed out at 17 reps and was shaking violently. For the life of him, he couldn’t hit another.
That is why I am so impressed by this video. Para has strength and endurance. Legend has it that his max was close to 600lbs.

Short arms make benching significantly easier. For a tall guy with long arms you have a huge disadvantage. But the tall guy would win a fight. Bench doesn't mean all that much

Once I did 12, and that was when I was out of shape. I ran out of gas. In shape, maybe 17 or 18. And that's without really weight training that much.
