Sew Your Own Compact Carry Bag Folding Tote

Hello! This is nice, Is the finished size the same as the plastic bags? How do we make it larger since cotton won’t stretch?

Boy, sewing the handle part is really confusing me 😂 I have tried once and sewed it wrong. Am picking out the stitches now... I've watched about 15 times. I still don't get it 😭

Very nice bag!! I have some bags like this that I bought years ago in a container store (only the handle section is double layered, and it’s made out of very thin windbreaker-like fabric). I use them practically every day for groceries, they’re very strong and much bigger interior than they appear. This bag will be thicker— but prettier! — so I may save it for more dry goods type shopping. Or perhaps when I go fabric shopping!😉😊. Thanks for the excellent tutorial video. New subscriber.❤

This is the BEST tutorial I've seen for sewing the "neck" of this type seam. I just bought the bag pattern today and watched your tutorial before starting. This is perfect and will also apply to my simple summer shirts that I've spent way to much time on trying to figure out this very technique. Thank You again and can't wait to get my bag stitched and check out your other videos (which are wonderfully made)

I purchased this pattern a couple of days ago. Thanks for sharing the video. I found it very helpful especially when came to sewing up the neck edges. That was only part I had trouble with but with the video made it very clear. The instructions are also very well written but I am a visual learner as sometimes struggle with written instructions but with both was so easy to follow. It’s a lovely little bag. I did a trial run but now feel confident to use my nicer fabrics.

I’ve just finished my gorgeous little bag. Just love it. Just the gift in mind for my friends on our craft retreat.
