“He’s poor” 💀😂
ОтветитьSubjective on whether mandatory military service will bring something positive or negative to any men who will be serving.
ОтветитьThis is my first time hearing these. Because when the govn were in the talks of delaying/exempting BTS, kpopies are all over twitter claiming every Korean men are honored to serve their country by enlisting.
ОтветитьPanda grabbing the noodle all up in the camera and his pink gloves had me laughing .. discreet gone wrong lol
ОтветитьI understand why so many mothers decided to get birth abroad.. I will scare myself to death knowing that one day my baby boy need to serve in the army and getting bullied and possibly die while training due to hazing and abuse
ОтветитьSorain
ОтветитьThe tattoo rule is currently making me look at a certain K pop star 👀 but jokes aside I understand that North Korea is imminent but I don’t think it’s fair to force people to join, especially when you treat those who you force to join poorly
:(
Love the regular podcasts, not a fan of the munching tho
ОтветитьOhhhhh maybe that's the reason why EXO Xiumin took PHD. Now I know, he completed it after the military :(
ОтветитьRandom but omg the background is so pretty how did you create it??
ОтветитьWhen you mentioned about the continuous studying it made me think of BTS and how they all still continue university till today
Ответитьcoming back to this video. Before, I feel so scared and anixous and just today after getting updates from Jin on his 1 year in the military and I'm so relieved and proud that he's healthy and even get promoted as the sergeant earlier than he's supposed to
ОтветитьI just hope that the remaining members of BTS yet to enlist will be protected by God. Good luck to all of them in general. 💜❤
ОтветитьI swear if Stephanie was my history teacher I would have the best grades ever
Ответитьthe fact that Korea won't change what's going on in the army system despite men trying to avoid it like it's the plague and going to such extents as to self-mutilate to not do their military mandatory service... this is insane seriously..
Ответить$15000 to recruit a person to enlist and then 3 years later they're still in and can't afford groceries 🥴
ОтветитьWatching this after ALL of the BTS members announced they're enlistment and I'm so sad. Also the guys literally always said they had no problem enlisting since it's the law and therefore a "dutty", the government just extended longer and longer the desicion of whether they would exime them or not, to send them fucking anyway. Honestly, I do think the young male citizens take on the matter played a huge role on the desicion because older citizens seemed to agree that BTS help Korea more by doing their thing than enlisting.
Either way, the members serving right now are doing an amazing job, Jin being promoted to Private first class, and Hoseok to Training camp assistant, both before scheduled.
And, if I'm not mistaken they were both ranked Special class warriors.
Meanwhile, Yoongi began fulfilling his mandatory military duty as a social service agent, due to his injured shoulder and surgery.
And it was announced days ago that Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook began their enlistment process and will commence their service this December.
They're doing so well, and showing they will excel at anything they do and I'm so proud of them 💜.
Castration, means removing the balls. Removing the penis is NOT castration.
Ответитьi shouldn't watch this while my bias is in the army
ОтветитьJust wanted to mention that the sign on bonus to join the military can be higher or lower than 15K
Ответитьhow are the trainees able to take pictures and post later when they can't have their phones? Teehee
ОтветитьThey should shorten it to one year. Probably contributes to misogynistic culture.
ОтветитьThey do the gas thing in the navy too, my bf did it in his basic training and they called it like a trust your safety gear excersize. BY MAKING THEM NOT USE IT??
ОтветитьI feel like we have the same social anxiety 😂
ОтветитьIn Algeria is better all men 18years old or above should serve have to and should serve one year the only escape is non good vision been the only son in a family and university study or you are abord you can escape it sometimes but not all the time.
Ответитьrandom observation, but I find it funny that stephanie didn't mention sexism here when she would DEFINITELY mention it if it was just women being enlisted lmao, I love the hypocrisy
ОтветитьThat one of the main reasons why I would never move there and try to have a family just for my son to be forced into the army because a bunch of old people say so
Ответитьthe BTS "law" was being cancelled because BTS decides to go on their own. but other companies tried to use BTS name to get all idols excempt. but that would just create a new loop whole (trend).
people would then just become idols and then quit after they get excempt. but that would not create idols who really want to sing and dance i think many would just do the minimum and use their fame after military to get brand deals and never work again.
many do this already. all new idols want the brand deals to get more money. it´s more about the money and fame and look pretty not many actually care about the music they have to sing it´s just, yeah whatever i can sing that.
so the passion is totally gone i have seen many idols with that mentality and if just 1 or two members in 1 group is like that. the teamwork would be really bad and they might disband.
I think BTS did the right thing. the government or other kpop labels should not decide if they go or not. but I know that NON of the memebers want to enlist they just do it because it´s a duty.
Damn I think alot of Knetizens didn't like suga from bts bc he might or might could've gone to the military bc of his shoulder, but he's going now, so idk
ОтветитьI was annoyed that people really got angry at the fact that ARMY didn’t want BTS to go into the military, at the end of the day they put Korea on the map in a lot of different ways and generated massive revenue for the country, and yet they still were enlisted…
ОтветитьFamously known to us in the 🇵🇭, crab mentality. A very sad trait.
Ответить🖤❤️
Ответитьdon't shout girl when telling story
ОтветитьThanks for making this. I would have liked to hear about those who don’t serve due to personal / religious beliefs. Jehovah’s Witnesses refuse military service and get imprisoned worldwide for it.
ОтветитьBTS are enlisting now... Our humble kingss💜💜
ОтветитьGlobal politics and war posturing waste so much of countries’ tax budgets, time, energy and their people’s souls. World peace is the answer, and all warmongering leaders must be thrown out of power. Let a council of the wise and most humanitarian leaders run the world.
Ответитьwhen my dad was young, the military service was mandatory and to this date, whoever had to mandatory be in the military have to serve the country in case of a war (in Romania); this stopped before I was born, but it's quite scary to think that most 40+ men have to serve if a war hits
Ответитьin vietnam we also have army enlistment , not as harsh as south korea tho. but we cant choose the time to go, it depends on the gov (usually after 4 yrs of uni). people tend to bribe their way out of it =)))) with loads of money for 2 years straight. however, they bribe to work for their local police force (sort of), not all the way.
ОтветитьThe actual military part of the story just sounds like regular military stuff. The US military does the same gassing training and other training along with the type of food.
Ответитьwatching this after seokjin/jin of bts enlisted and a crazy nurse from an entirely different military base gave him some sort of injection, UNAUTHORIZED, with no permission to do any of that.. she could've literally poisoned him. it makes me so scared. I hope all of them stay safe.
ОтветитьThe punchline on, being second means nothing, welcome to an Asian family.... literally made me laugh 😂😂🤣...the story telling... amazing
ОтветитьThis happens in Syria 😅
Ответитьwhat i dont understand is, seems like most of them are most afraid of the bullying and hazing by their seniors or whatevs
but seems like the cycle continues if it keeps happening.. no?
overtime, wont the new soldiers become the seniors and they were afraid oftheir seniors previously but they did it to the juniors?
I'm not really into forced military but with south Korea and north Korea just so close and crazy I kinda understand it. What I don't understand is why they isolate them though
ОтветитьOoh GD
ОтветитьSouth Korea also have mandatory enlistment not only North Korea so can we back off from North Korea please
ОтветитьMy daughter was recently discharged from the US Navy (passed couple of years). She only made around $600/mo enlisted. Also, all service people in the military are also gassed. The only difference is that they know about it in advance. Hazing is also very prominent here, too. The major difference is that ours is voluntary.
ОтветитьWTF! How lucky our sons in our country.
Poor SK boys. 😭😭
Sending my love to them. ❤
Love from Malaysia.
❤❤❤💗❤❤❤
Colombia 🇨🇴 has a mandatory enlistment unless you can pay your way out of it by bribing officials 😅
I leaned that my great uncle was forced to join the Colombian army. They didn’t tell them where they were going until they got to Korea! Yup! To the Korean War at the time. I’m glad Colombia went to support the U.S. army and the Korean army. They were the only Hispanic country tray joined the U.S.🥹 it makes me very proud my uncle took part of it! I just wished I would have met him. He died there unfortunately 😢
